Yeah the cleave-gag has been in the commercials for months now, at least the commercials they showed awhile back. Even though it's somewhat old news, a scene is a scene :)

Nice rant. You're in vintage form.

Yeah. There's an episode of The Huntress where she is handcuffed by a single hand to a chair, then cleave gagged when someone knocks at the door. She could remove the gag, but doesn't, since it's her daughter looking for her, and she doesn't want to put her in danger. Also, this gives her time to pull the ol' switcheroo with the bad guys briefcase. Kind of a dumb plot device.

There's a scene in a German show where the damsel is handcuffed to the wall by a single hand, then tape gagged like she couldn't remove it at will.

While they are as cumb as the "hands tied in front while gagged" scenes, I still like them as much as the rarer "gagged but not tied" scenes (I still haven't picked up Burn Notice season 4) because it sort of makes the damsel an accomplice- if not willing, at least submitting to it.

As a submissive myself, I kind of dig that element in a scene.

southern fried stings tru tv
Crzy show on Tru TV.

In a scene coming up in the next 20 mins, there will be a girl bound to a table and gagged in this crazy cult ceremony.

I saw this episode earlier but didn't post anything.

Wonder Woman
With apologies in advance to the Moderator for even mentioning the 'WW' word, I have started a Wonder Woman thread over at the Anubis forum.

Did anyone happen to get the names of the actresses playing the victims? There were 4-5 females listed in the end credits, which probably included the DiDs, but I wasn't able to catch the character names of either of the 2 tied up ladies.

I agree, those scenes the damsels doesn't ungag themselfs are the best in my book.
Its kind of like self-gagging scenes, the damsel is responsible for her mouth being kept gagged.

Dr Who hint
Just stumbled across a potentially good spoiler piece for the new series of Dr Who, that summarises the first two episodes of the season. I'll post the link to the whole thing below (incase some are fans and are spoiler weary) but the line that stuck out for me was "....Or why they have kidnapped Amy Pond...". Please GOD, let there be a scene for Karen Gillan. She is quite the cutie, and knowing the character of Amy, she wouldn't take to being bound and gagged too well.

Tangled would probably be even worse considering that it's CGI & not REAL...

late alert -- Tell No Tales
TELL NO TALES (Louise Platt bound and gagged) is on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) right now.

This is not in the database.

Young and the Restless
No guarantees, but there is a good chance for a scene in the near future. An ongoing court case is building to a climax, with the need to control potential witnesses.

Of course, we just had this setup recently, and we got only blindfolds, fires, and putzes.

Thanks, Gagster. I had never seen this scene before. I was very disappointed in it. There wasn't much to see.

Thanks very much, Van! I thought I spotted a blinkie scene in the latest TV ad, but since this is not the sort of movie I ever bother to watch -- normally -- I might have missed this. I have a love thang for Zooey Deschanel, so I'll have to keep an eye open on this one...

Aurora - alert
Could be something in tomorrow night's episode of this Spanish language soap. The character played by Vanessa Pose was kidnapped at the end of tonight's episode. She wasn't shown in the preview, but her character was being harassed by a stalker, so hopefully she'll be b&g'd in tomorrow's episode. "Aurora" are at 7:00 p.m. CT on Telemundo.

The Crystal Ball
THE CRYSTAL BALL is on right now on Turner Classic Movies (TCM). Paulette Goddard is playing a phony psychic. She is wearing a veil that is covering her mouth and nose.
