| A question for the DB editors - there was a scene on L&O:LA last night for which I've added a db entry. Since the show has been cancelled, NBC is not paying much attention to the order of the episodes. Last night's episode is listed as 1.21 at epguides.com, but was actually shown in what I figure was the 18th slot. I used the (1.21) for the db, but I'll leave it to you whether it should stay with that or be adjusted. |

Epguides lists 1.21, tvrage (link for description on epguides) list 1.18, yet Skeet Ulrich was killed off in 1.9. This happened with Eastwick also. I'll add the note at the bottom of your entry to depict the conflicting airings. |

| I just noticed on my way home, that this week's issue of the UK's top gossip rag Heat has a picture of Imogen Thomas with black tape on her mouth. As anyone from this side of the pond will know, Imogen has been the subject to media scrutiny later due to her involvement in a super injunction involving football mega-star Ryan Giggs, which was all very hush-hush until last week...ANYWAYS, the cover of the magazine has the headline "Imogen Ungagged!" and she is peeling some black tape off her mouth (though its still mostly covered). I had a leaf through the rest of it and there are no other photos like that in the actual magazine, so it might just be for completists...but then again she is pretty gorgeous, and it's nice to see some bondage THAT well publishised. |

She was in a not-terribly-tight straightjacket and was also wearing a black, above the knees skirt, which seemed rather odd but also sort of sexy. My favorite moment came near the end of the ep when she was seated on the floor and sort of screaming and twisting back and forth - a nice struggle moment. |

The cover is shown at the end of the interview linked here: http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/05/31/imogen-thomas-refuses-to-disappear-gives-interview-to-heat-magazine-video/ I suspect that Imogen posed with her hand up to her mouth, and the tape was Photoshopped in later. The black surface of the tape has no shading or texture, its upper edge is slightly sharper and jaggier than the rest of the image, and the outline of the middle joint of her index finger is distinctly fuzzy. Also, there's no sign of the tape pulling on her skin as she removes it. I could be wrong, of course. My, but she's mmmmphogenic, though. :-) |

| Thanks for the alert guys. It could be photoshopped, but I see no reason why they'd go through the trouble of having the shoot to begin with then. Everyone is photoshopped for cosmetic reasons, but it's not like finding a real strip of tape would have been hard. Either way, I love, love, LOVE surprised scenes in the media like this! |

Interview and photo session clearly took place on the same day (note hair), with a change of dress between them. There would, as you say, be no shortage of gaffer tape in the studio, but they might have difficulty getting it to stick well with all the make-up she was wearing. For the same reason, I'd expect tape to have lipstick adhering to it, and none is visible. We'll never know... |

| Just a heads up that I posted a VCR Alert for tonight for a show on the ID (Investigation Discovery) Channel titled "I (Almost) Got Away With It". The preview of the new episode ("Got to Get Revenge) I saw over the weekend showed a scene of a woman with her hands bound in front with duct tape and sporting a duct tape gag with stuffing. Since it's a new episode I don't have much more information. |

| Unprompted remarks about bondage are always the best Q: Did you have a favorite scene? A: I really like the scenes, oddly enough, with Bruce where I'm duct-taped and talking through the tape. They told them in advance, "Can you find some duct tape that's not going to be so hard on her skin?" I could have told them, "Go to a bondage store or something," it's not that hard, but no one did. Twenty takes of ripping tape off your skin is a bit much - but having to communicate through the tape, that was fun. I liked that. |

I agree, I wish the jacket was tighter (and a regular Posey with straps instead of laces), but I loved Bree Williamson's wild struggling at the beginning and end of the show! The spoilers I've read indicate that she'll try to escape later this week, but get caught. You can check the Video page for a link to the scenes. |
