| Record number: 5544 Title: Manny & Lo (1996) aka Manny and Lo Medium: Movie Actress: Mary Kay Place Description: A pregnant teen and her younger sister run away from foster homes and kidnap a woman whom they believe can help with the pregnancy. Around the half-hour mark (with ads) Ms. Place is overgagged and has her ankles bound with a bicycle chain and lock. She's taken to a remote house, her wrists now bound in front. She's ungagged and tossed on a bed. This sequence lasts a couple of minutes or so. She remains bound hand and foot until about 56' in, when her wrists are untied, but she stays hobbled for some period after. |

| Now that the soap has been canceled i think before they go off we need one more time of Blair Bound and Gagged she is the hottest lady on the show we need to end the soap in style and i still say thet call the soaps Daytime Serials so wwhy not have Blair in peril Train Tracks Ye old Buzzsaw or something else maybe cement shoeson a cement Bikini |

Do hope she gets a scene though. 49 years old with a body many half her age would kill to have. Must have a decomposing picture in one of her closets. |

Would love to see her in peril again. The sad thing is, most of these soap actresses, especially the older ones, we'll probably never even see them again on TV. |

It's obvious that most forms of gags on TV are ineffective but they are still used and advertised. The other night CBC ran a commercial for summer movies and in the montage of scenes of the movies, I saw the girl from MI:3 and The Big Hit gagged |

Everyone on the planet owns duct tape, so when you see a film or something depicting a robbery, a tape gag makes sense. Not only that, but it gets used in comedic situations and commercials a lot because the ripping off aspect is played for laughs. How many commercial or sitcom eps can you think of where you have the scene where someone has tape ripped from their lips and screams out an exaggerated "OW!!!!"? Not only that, but I think it doesn't have the stigma certain other gags do. You can make a comedy or something where someone is tape-gagged, and it won't be seen as sexual as a ball-gag or cleave-gag |

| Buzz on the Interweb is that Evangeline Lily ("Lost") has been cast as a female (duh) woodelf named "Tauriel" in one or both of the Peter Jackson "Hobbit" movies! I can't wait 'til the inevitable publicity photos of Tauriel start to appear. There is absolutely no reason to think Tauriel will be kidnapped by goblins and dragged through Mirkwood bound and gagged and will be rescued just in the nick of time by Bilbo... but I'm starting the rumor, anyway. ;-) |

| There is actually a fairly significant scene where Bilbo's friends end up bound and gagged and cocooned by giant spiders. Maybe Evangeline will be amongst their numbers? We can hope, right? |
