I had it recording in the other room but havent' watched it yet...I did get some glimpses of the lasy tied to the bed & cleave gagged in the first 15 minuets or so....a few short shots & then one of her dead. Dont know if anything happened to anyone else after that though.

Here's a question - how bad are these shows, when we all know a scene is a sure thing, and none of us actually wants to sit through the show as it airs to document it? I haven't gotten around to checking my tape yet either.

From my end, I just don't care about no-name scenes most of the time. I don't mind sitting through a terrible CSI: Miami episode if we get one of the leads B&G.

Kinda like chasing the soap opera scenes and having to wait weeks for the scene to pop.

OK, once and for all, was there any full treatment on EITHER of the most recent Criminal Minds eps? It's getting a bit confusing now.

That's the scene? Doesn't look too good. How bad was it in terms of violence, etc.?

Sorry for make you wait Sam...
the original series had one tie-up at about :45. Woman tied to a chair, wrists to armrests, no gag. When the cops show up, she is used as a shield with her wrists tied in front of her, still no gag.

The CM: Suspect Behavior had two full scenes. At :06, just before the credits, the original victim is seen laying stretched on a bed, bandana cleave gagged (the clip from the preview). She is glimpsed for a second at about :15 during an autopsy scene, then is seen one more time at :18, but she is already dead.

Another victim is found in the same pose, same gag, at about :42. She is wounded, but not dead, and is untied by the police.

I haven't tracked down the actress' identities on any of the three yet.

AMC and OLTL: canceled
Terrible news, friends. Two of the most prolific soaps in terms of scenes will soon be history. ABC is canceling both soaps. AMC ends in September, OLTL next January.

Thanks for that. I'm editing an HD version now. One thing I've noticed about these CSI-type shows is that flashbacks can be missed whilst skimming through the non-DiD stuff. I often find myself doing multiple run-throughs just so that I don't miss anything like a quick flashback or a capture/release scene. Gets pretty tedious, but hey.

This new Suspect Behavior show seems to be churning out scenes every episode. Good stuff.

The shows that will be replacing them are apparantly BOTH about food/diets/health - like there sren't already 1,000 shows like that floating around. Two more reasons not to watch television...

Methinks the glass is half full, gentlemen. Doesn't the sight of a beautiful woman stuffing her mouth with a truffle (or whatever) remind you of a gagged damsel?

Kim Zimmer agrees: "With this devastating, news I have to say tho not surprised, it's still so sad to think that a genre of television is disappearing. One that is so important to the employment of so many diverse groups of people. I'm deeply heartbroken by this news!"

I wholeheartedly agree. It sucks to see all of these soaps being cancelled. Say what you will about them, they produced some of the all time greatest scenes of damsels in distress. It's just a minor tragedy in the scheme of things, but a tragedy it is.

Michelle Horn in 'Hostage'
Whilst I was editing the Hostage scene I posted on the Video Page, I found these hi-res promo pics:

Kinda cool, n'est pas? Too bad Michelle Horn never did anything else afterwards. I thought she was totally adorable, especially with this cute thong peek:

It took some searching, but I managed to ID all three of the actresses from last night's shows. First, the ungagged actress from the original Criminal Minds was Heather Mazur. The first of the full treatment DIDs from CM: Suspect Behavior was Jennifer Ann Burton, and the second was Annie Tedesco. The important parts from the Suspect Behavior episode are on the video page, compliments of Sam.

Ah you're a gem. The original post I made at Rob's has been changed to reflect the newly found IDs. Always good to have names for the sometimes-underappreciated "unknowns".
