Saw this one recently. No gag to speak of. There is a handgag in the film where (I think) the mom handgags her daughter so that she won't scream and alert the Castle Freak to their whereabouts. |

Monday October 18 03:07:39 2004 [10839] Proces de Jeanne d\'Arc (Trial of Joan of Arc) (1962) |
Record number: 10839
Title: Proces de Jeanne d'Arc (Trial of Joan of Arc) (1962) Medium: Movie Actress: Florence Carrez Description: As the title implies, this film focuses mainly on Joan's trial, which accounts for its relatively short length of just over an hour. Carrez appears numerous times with her hands bound in front by a chain wrapped around her wrists, or with one ankle shackled in her prison cell. There is one brief shot near the end of her apparently shackled at the wrists and ankles (it's rather dark and the bonds are hard to see) to a rack-like device upon which she lies on her back in a reclining position. Although she defies her captors to go ahead and "quarter" her, the scene ends without any torture. In the final sequence she walks barefoot to the stake, to which she's bound with chains that are first wrapped around her wrists behind her, then passed several times around her torso. This is followed up by a rope wrapped around her body from her ankles to her shoulders. There is one brief shot of her chained wrists writhing during the burning. _________________________________ Fail search test |

She is seated into a wodden chair and the hood is removed, revealing a sweaty Michelle tape gagged. The two henchmen then lock her into the room. There are a couple shots of her looking around and the scene cuts out. At about 15 minutes, there is a great closeup of her looking deo-eyed and tape gagged. Evil man comes in, rips off the gag (and wow, it looks like she was actually wearing it for more than 5 seconds before the scene). Evil man hands her a cell phone, she talks to her husband. Later in the episode (35 minutes) it looks like her arms are strapped to the chairs arms while the bad guy asks her questions. =============================================== Under Review Ref: Record number: 10377 Title: 24 Medium: TV Series Actress: Reiko Aylesworth Description: Episode: "Day 3: 8:00 A.M.-9:00 A.M." See above. FAQ doesn't mention anything about this. I would presume that a different scene with a different actress would be a different entry, even if it is the same episode. Guidance from the almighty would be cool. Admittedly, it is a fairly rare situation. > And why (2.04 )? > All previous entries no "0" aka (2.4), > may be a potential search problem.. ok, I'll quit adding the "0". Record number: 10847 (24 3.21) - I just capped, link above. Record number: 10377 (24 3.20) - This scene is really short, maybe 5 seconds and most of it is seen through a camera. It was posted on the forums when it aired and I recall that people skipped right over it (I know I did). Found at 0:40.42, if you want to add the exact time ;) (You'll probably need it.) I don't want to sound like an jerk, if I did above, sorry. I know that you guys have to deal with idiots submitting garbage and you really have no clue who is submitting an entry. |

Re: the comma argument - If multiple scenes are merged, those searching with a comma in the actress box will get a ton of results that are not multiple damsel scenes, but seperate scenes that are in the same episode (like this episode). - It is a moot point though, if you search with a comma in the actress field in the db, you will get "bad" (i.e. not multiple damsel scenes) results. Although it is irrelevant at this point, what it came down to is whether the database was tracking "did scenes" or "movies/shows". The db is tracking movies / shows that have did scenes in them, not the scenes themselves. I thought differently, that the db tracked "by scene", as most of the caps that I've downloaded in the last 10 years have been cap'ed that way, so I just got used to thinking that way. (i.e. If A is kidnapped, B's kidnapping will be a seperate file unless they are seen together at some point in the future. This was done to keep the caps short and file sizes down for transfer.) Again, irrelevant at this stage. Sorry for being stupid. The 5th rule mentions "1 episode per entry", but gives no guidance as to this situation. Perhaps an ammendment to make it clear? i.e. 5. Only one episode of a TV show per entry, only one entry per episode. |

There are some shots of her looking through the bars and a glance at her cuffed wrists and ankles. Before you posted, you would have checked the Database. Aware you posted "24" & "Alias", so these previous entries would have been brought up: Record number: 7288 Title: 24 Medium: TV Series Actress: Leslie Hope, Karina Arroyave Description: Episode: "11:00pm-12:00 Midnight" (1.24) Leslie is tied to a chair and gagged with black tape. Several scenes ending with her being found by hubby Kiefer Sutherland in a deceased state. Jamey (Arroyave) is briefly handgagged in video footage by Sarah Clarke ________________________ Record number: 6669 Title: Alias Medium: TV Series Actress: Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Tung Description: Episode: "The Box", Part 2 (1.13) As heroine Sydney Bristow, Garner has her hands bound behind her with a plastic cable tie for a few scenes between about 0:39 and 0:47. Most of the scenes are dialogue-centric and therefore focus in on just her face, though there are a few shots (mostly action shots that last about half a second) of her bound wrists. Most collectors who don't insist on Garner completism will probably be more interested in the two short shots featuring Tung as a double agent. Sydney doesn't know if she can trust her, so she ties her to a post with a cable tie (implied only) and cleave-gags her with partner Vaughan's tie. She's tied up at 0:30 and rescued about three minutes later, between which time the knot in the gag mysteriously disappears. ================================================ So are you saying it appeared to you scenes in these airing the same time? Source then of problem? Ask as we've never had separate entries for the same TV show episode. When shown up in the past, Deleted & Merged. As will be any others I come across.
