[10910] The Fear Chamber (1968) aka La Camara del Terror
Record number: 10910

Title: The Fear Chamber (1968) aka La Camara del Terror
Medium: Movie
Actress: Eva Muller, unknown

Description: This is an extraordinarily stupid movie made in Mexico featuring a senile Boris Karloff (Dr. Mandel) at the end of his career. He plays the scientist who discovers a volcano rock that lives and grows fed by the blood of terrified females. Accordingly Dr Mandel and his crew kidnapp young women and terrorize them to feed the rock. At the 10 minute mark we see the first victim (unknown) placed over a metal grid overlying hot coals. She is chained at her wrists and ankles and then stabbed in her heart as if she was some sort of sacrifice to the rock. Later in the movie an attractive blonde (Eva Muller) is kidnapped and taken to the torture chamber. She is chained by her wrists and whipped by Helga, the sadistic assistant to Dr Mandel.

Not sure why you flagged it.
BTW. If you're (really) bored, "CSI" is done a couple different ways in the DB

i.e.
C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) aka CSI
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation

I'm guessing that people who search for scenes won't use the string "C.S.I.". Those searching for just "CSI" have less results (and get no CSI Miami results, etc etc)

Also not sure why the year is included on some, but it is a bit confusing if the entries are not from that year.

Again fellas, help the boy here out.

Here's a few popular United States shows from my air-sched:

Alerte à Santa Monica, ep: "Piège à filles"
Espionnes à talons, ep: "Mission Martini"
Le Caméléon, ep: "Jeu de piste"
L'Oeil du crime, ep: "Mourir pour vivre"
Sans laisser de trace, ep: "Retombées"
Tessa à la pointe de l'épée, ep: "L'Émissaire"
La Porte des étoiles, ep: "Le passé oublié"
Les Chroniques du paranormal, ep: "Cauchemars"
Star Trek: Voyageur, ep: "inconnu"
Alias, ep: "Sables mouvants"
La Loi et l'ordre, ep: "La Vie ne tient qu'à un fil"
____________________________________

Obviously, this a bastard to sort. For me, with good English even. So easiest way for me to coach non-United States, nor well at English speaking posters, is to have them search on episode numbers.

Throwing an extra "0" in there causes the search to fail.
Thanx

Yeah, the IMDB appears an ongoing thing too.
"C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) aka CSI" was what had back when first lined them up.
No see other way around
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation aka C.S.I.

Buggers! Now have to go and edit the bunch.

****** Also not sure why the year is included on some, but it is a bit confusing if the entries are not from that year. ******

Date only used with what in IMDB to differentiate between similar titled series. {Normally remakes)
In this case,
see that other CSI's now have separate titles. So date no longer needed.

As for other two,
some just don't enter same as previous entries. Have to watch for that

Title: "King Solomon's Mines" (2004)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Alison Doody

Description: new version with Patrick Swayze.

Later in the film Alison Doody has a few really good hand gags.

Shortly after that she is taken prisoner and made to march through the desert with her hands bound together in front. There no close-ups of her bound hands and she is never gagged but there are a few decently frames shots.

She wears a puffy white bouse, long skirt and boots as per the period depicted.

One thing that would be cool is to have the episodes from a show come up in chronological order. Makes a bit more sense.
I'm not sure what db Brian uses, but it should be fairly simple to sort the records. I'd be willing to help out, I have a fair bit of experience in this area.

This would be painfully easy to do is all episodes were in the form of (#.##), but (#.#) doesn't make it much harder.

It's just a wee bit of a pain to search for a scene in the shows that have had a crapload of records (xena, superman, alias, 24, etc)

I was just thinking of just dumping the database to disk and re-importing it into MySQL or something to play with changes / possible searches, but if someone wants to email me some more info, that would be cool.

No database backend, strictly flatfile.

Besides, the sorting doesn't make sense when any search
could produce episodes from different shows.
