Recall Chikyu, ep: "7" aired as I Save the World here, but Title only thing they bothered to translate. Besides what? "Scoop On" during opening credits. What a bugger that. Another case been alot easier if poster had asked for assist here first |

"entries would be taken out of the DB until the problems were resolved ... I thought that was already occurring in some instances." This the old system, or let foolishness "pass by without a ripple in the pond"? Believe how Brian put it? Basically, young fellas joking around were running searches on Off-topics after acid-fests on Discussion Page. Then running in entries. Because of reference posts and entries running in order, have an idea of date posted. And how to search based on the argument on Discussion Page. Suspected ones, going by the DB and 2 pages reference, other than of course ones alerted to. Checked into some, pulled some outright, but quietly. Geared complaints to emails and learned of "Harmony Rules" and what have you? in email Tried to settle fellas down that way, etc etc It the only reason entries were "pulled". Now all Edited entries are posted. As Brian has requested. Figured it very close to what you had suggested? |

Are you hunting down the pertinent info and re-entering them? My point in this thread is to emphasize that entry posters need to take responsibility for correct formating ... the editors shouldn't have to clean up after them. Mistakes happen, fair enough ... that's why you give them a week or however long to make the necessary corrections. If they need help, that's what this page is for, right? And who are these "fellas" ... and if they're being such assitches, is it more trouble than it's worth to screen door 'em and good riddance? |

I don't know, problem with quiet "pull" was some good guys made errors that appeared similar to usual suspect ones. "Adolph entering the Country Club" only meant to for the goofers. Get their attention we're aware of the jokes. Time to move on, etc Personally wouldn't like treating contributors making mistakes same way. |

In general, what I want is something that will be as little work for the editors as possible, while causing as little confusion for the users as possible. I also want to be kept informed about what's going on.
We have two main problems, jokers and the clueless. We appreciate legitimate entries, but there's no excuse for people to enter them in all lower case or with no information (unless from caps or whatever). There are things I can do programmatically that will help some aspects. As far as other things, I've just about talked myself into a major policy change. I'll be looking at these two things in concert. |

"And who are these "fellas" ... and if they're being such assitches, is it more trouble than it's worth to screen door 'em and good riddance?" Brian has been ejecting the jokers, In General Comment as known cause of concern Had to word it careful, as Brian requested. Here: Ref: Recall Parents on about "Me" Generation, or the "spoiled lot, that never had to do without"? So we'll dub "*Me* Division" and *Non Me* Division for example Ask that stick with this reference if reply concerning certain antics, and not mention ages. Thanx This a Scene Collector site with a Moderator. What other reason for regularly coming to this site than Collecting scenes? *Me* Division are more likely here to get ahold of scenes interested in. So say back when those unpopular torture entries appeared. All entered shortly *after* heated Discussion Posts on it. Quick search, and found the page those entries copied word for word from. If this character a *Me* Divisioner with an interest? He had that page and the Anything Goes Page available to post on and get ahold of his scenes, correct? But to only just copy paste into the DB? Realise concerns about having warped *Me* Divisioners here. Understand wanting to email Brian and myself the Harmony Rules, or whatever But this the usual with antics like this, and 9 out of 10 from a poster that doesn't trade, nor contribute? (Likely can't, huh?) Again, bored *Non Me* Divisioners trying to get reaction posting foolishness. Same with *Non Me* Division Actress torture, cross-dress entries, or buggering the search feature. Also normal *after* heated posts on Discussion Page Ask don't get baited by this, and leave Editors to play "Adolph entering the Country Club" with. We have notes and date posted references to work with Thanx |

No. I'm just trying to suggest a way to deal with improperly formatted entries in a way that reduces the workload for you ... so you're not having to constantly be cleaning up Aisle 5. If what I've proposed isn't feasible, fine. Maybe there's no way to get folks to actually read the rules, check how the entries are formatted, and post them accordingly. If I, you and at least a few others can, it wouldn't seem to be a big frigging deal, you'd think. As for "goofers" ... why aren't they simply banned? Is it a cost/benefit thing and not worth the time and effort ... or can they easily circumvent exclusion? I don't know diddley about the process. > "Adolph entering the Country Club" only meant > to for the goofers. > What does that phrase mean? |

I'm just trying to be helpful here ... but this medium's awfully damn frustrating compared to RL discussion. I hope what I've said has been of some value. |

But there that period between "suspect" and reviewed. Like with the Indonesian one and Korean one (The Record believe?). Took me time to find those. |

But you should know by now that I try not to allow things to get to that point ... once a discussion degenerates into baiting, I make my point and take my leave.
