In the middle, there is a brief scene of an unknown actress bound and gagged on a bed. @3:00pm CITY Record number: 2304 Title: Abyss, The (1989) Medium: Movie Actress: Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio Description: Around the 100' mark in the AMC airing (with an intermission of a few minutes, which occurs before the scene), the psychotic Navy SEAL tapegags Ms. Mastrantonio for a few seconds shortly after catching another crew member spying on another SEAL. @3:30pm CFTM Les Aventuriers de l'Arche Perdue (1981) aka, Record number: 255 Title: Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981) Medium: Movie Actress: Karen Allen Description: About halfway into the movie, Marion Ravenwood (Allen) is nabbed by the evil Nazis. Later hero Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) stumbles upon her in a Bedouin tent, cleave gagged with a sodden hankerchief, her wrists bound behind her back and around the center pole which supports the tent's roof. Indy ungags her and they have a tender reunion (he thought she was dead) but then rethinks the situation and decides to regag her much to her understandable (and vocal) dismay. Later, she is seen in the same predicament, briefly, as she tries to squirm away from one of the villians who unties her. In these scenes she's wearing slacks and a white and red patterned blouse. Towards the end of the film, Marion and Indy are tied to a stake back to back while the Nazis prepare to open the Ark. The ropes, curiously, tie their left wrists to the corresponding right one of their partner. When the spirits of the Ark are released, they destroy the Nazis and burn through the heroes bindings, leaving them unscathed. In the latter scene, Marion is wearing a white satin cocktail dress. @4:00pm YTV Record number: 2185 Title: Flintstones, The (1994) Medium: Movie Actress: Elizabeth Taylor Description: Most notable for the Hollywood diva's first bound and gagged scene. Playing a character called Pearl Slaghoopie, she has her hands tied in front and is cleave-gagged with cloth. @11:58pm CFTM La Prison des Secrets (1997) aka, Record number: 5864 Title: Prison of Secrets (1997) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Stephanie Zimbalist Description: Lynn Schaffer (Zimbalist) is twice briefly seen cuffed in the Lifetime TV women in prison movie. In the initial arrest scene there's a lot of protest from hubby about her being cuffed as she's dragged off by the cops (she's guilty by ignorance) but that's about it for bondage. |
