Record number: 12496 Title: Imagining Argentina (2003) Medium: Movie Actress: Emma Thompson, Sara Fernandez, Leticia Dolera Description: Grim surrealistic tale, set in Argentina during the 1976-83 military dictatorship, of a children's theater director (Antonio Banderas) whose journalist wife (Thompson) runs afoul of the regime when she reports on two disappearances that may be linked to it-and as a result, becomes one of "the disappeared" herself. Her husband then develops a strange clairvoyance that allows him to see what has happened to the growing number of missing, which gains him something of a cult following among their loved ones. His vision of his wife's fate, however, is not as clear, which leads him on a rather disjointed quest to find her. About 35 minutes in he makes his way to an abandoned warehouse where from a catwalk above he views a metal table, upon which his nude wife (either Thompson or a body double) appears lying on her back while being beaten in a flashback shot of about a second. Her captors hide her midsection and the shot is so brief it is difficult to see if she is bound. Then, at about an hour, a fully clothed Thompson is shown bent face-down over the end of a metal bedframe, secured to it by chains attached to leather straps around her wrists, while she is being sodomized by a jailer, who also has all his clothes on (he is shown zipping up his pants after he finishes). Despite the assault being only implied, the scene is still rather difficult to watch. Several minutes later, a young man comes to see the director, telling him his sister is among the disappeared. The director envisions a young woman (Fernandez) shown from behind in a couple of brief shots sitting seminude in a chair with a black hood over her head and her hands being tied behind her. The bonds are clearer in the second shot after the tying is finished. The director, however, isn't fooled; when the hood is pulled off, he declares that the man has no sister and is a spy sent by the government-which he is. Bad move. After he further taunts the junta by putting on a play critical of the government its agents pay him a visit, and his daughter (Dolera) joins her mother in captivity. At roughly an hour and ten minutes she's shown on the same bedframe on which her mother was assaulted, lying on her back in a narrow spreadeagle with similar bonds. She's barefoot and clad in a short green dress. The spy her father exposed then stands over her menacingly with an electric probe that he will use to torture her, but he is not shown using it. A brief head-and-shoulders closeup of Dolera chained to the bed is shown again about twenty minutes later. |

| and earlier at 10am Record number: 1086 Title: The Dentist (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Linda Hoffman Description: Playing the unfaithful wife of the demented title character (Corbin Bernsen), she's lured into his new office at night on a pretext, and tries out his new patient chair at his invitation, whereupon he slips behind her and quickly wraps a white cloth strip around her neck to secure her to the headrest, then renders her unconscious with gas. Then he ties her arms to the chair with black rope, and proceeds to relieve her of her teeth-and tongue-once she wakes up. Thereafter mayhem follows, as one by one he attacks various people, including the IRS man, who is left with his mouth a bloody mess. All the while his bloodied wife is laying tied on a chaise lounge at home. |

| Title: Wrong Turn (2003) Medium: Movie Actress: Eliza Dushku, Emmanuelle Chriqui Description: 33 minutes into the movie, Carly (Chriqui) is briefly handgagged by Jeremy Sisto. 58 min in, Jessie (Dushku) is handgagged by the male lead (Desmond Harrington). Pretty good scene with some good mmpphing. Longer, but darker (outside at night). The good stuff starts 69 minutes in. You see Jessie tied spread eagle to a bed with metal wire. Not a loosie. She is also gagged with a black leather braided belt between the teeth. Lots of struggling and talking through the gag. Unfortunately, the gag talk is easily comprehensible, marring an onterwise great scene. She is later rescued. Scene lasts about 4 minutes, but there is a fight scene going on at the same time, so the camera does move around. Still, you probably won't dissappointed by the scene. |

| Title: Platinum Rush (2005) aka Live Once, Die Twice Medium: TV Movie Actress: Kellie Martin, Cindy Sampson Description: At 0:02:25 Nicole Lauker (Martin), a cute brunette, is nude in bed having her feet & legs being kissed by the villain. At 0:24:21(0:28:20) Nicole, wearing a blue low cut top and beige sweater, is grabbed from behind while trying to run from a man in black and chloroformed with white cloth over her mouth while she is trying to scream. She is awakened by a man pulling her upright in a chair, her hands are tied behind her back. Her ankles are apparently tied (but not seen). Her bonds are cut loose after interrogation. At 0:44:05(0:52:20) Zoe Ravena (Sampson), another cute brunette, wearing underwear & a pink robe, is grabbed from behind by a man in black, arm around her waist, hand over her mouth, lots of moaning as she is fighting to get away, kicking with her bare legs. Next, she is on her back on the floor with the villain holding his hands over her mouth as she throws punches. At 1:16:10(1:44:02) Nicole is wearing a brown top, flowery green skirt & brown high heel sandals, she walks back to the boat & sees Zoe sitting on the bunk in the boat cabin with silver duct tape gag over her mouth & hands tied behind back, but not seen. At 1:17:24(1:50:01) Nicole & Zoe, sitting on the deck of boat, silver duct tape gags over their mouths, hands duct taped behind their backs crossed, bare feet duct taped, struggling & moaning. Next, the villain rips the gags off Nicole's & then Zoe's lips while he is gloating over them. The villain slaps Zoe to the deck, Nicole says "leave her alone". Next after the villain walks away, Nicole scoots with her hands toward Zoe & says "come on, try it", then Zoe starts at the tape around Nicole's wrists. The villain comes back & puts a plastic bag over Zoe's head & duct tapes it in place. The detective guy the damsels were working with starts shooting at the villain, Nicole finishes untying her hands & then unties Zoe. At 1:58:15(1:25:38) Nicole awakens to a villain's hand over her mouth while she was sleeping on her side in a hospital bed. Note: TIMES (WITH COMMERCIALS) |
