Record number: 1900 Title: Batman (1966) Medium: TV Series Actress: Diana Ivarson Description: Episode: "Flop Goes the Joker" (2.58) Baby Jane Towser (Ivarson) encourages the Joker's artistic tendencies, but the Joker decides that he'd make more money stealing paintings by Jackson Potluck, etc., then actually painting them. He binds and cleave gags (over-the-hair) the deliciously overacting Ivarson with thin dark cloth, the better to pull off his nefarious crime. The gag comes off at one point so she can answer Joker, but later goes back in place. Eventually the evildoer carts her, still bound and gagged, off to Bruce Wayne's mansion, but Batman and Robin are on the scene to rescue the misguided lass. One of the better late Batman episodes. |

Teri Wiegel is kidnapped by Satan worshippers who plan to sacrifice her to the devil. They keep her in a dungeon-like room on a bed with her wrists tied behind her back and her ankles tied together. The bondage itself isn't very visible. But the ball-gag is! There are three different scenes with it, each about a minute long. It's a red ball-gag, good-sized, and it fills her mouth nicely. She has good pouty lips. The ball is attached with dark rope of a shoelace-like material. No leather strap and no head-harness. The Satanists taunt Teri and she moans quite a bit. Unfortunately, they also keep taking the ball-gag out and putting it back in. But all in all, a classic to be cherished. |

They shock her into unconsciousness and bring her back to their lair, where she is bound down to a table. She is forced to record her voice, making it appear to Steed on the phone that she is summoning her. Then they stuff a wedge of cloth into her mouth (actually, it's more like Ms. Rigg bites down on the cloth), encase her in tin foil from head to foot, and charge her full of electricity so when Steed touches her, he will be electrocuted. When Steed arrives, he follows the sound of Mrs. Peel's loud moaning (a lot of it!) to find her under wraps on the table. The criminals didn't count on Steed wearing rubber galoshes, and he releases her--but not before some playful taunting of her as she moans beneath the foil: "Mrs. Peel! I'd recognize those eyes anywhere." "Mmmppphhfff!" is her reply. This is a fairly long scene, but the bondage and particularly the gag are weak. Ms. Rigg gives it her all with the moaning, though. |

Record number: 1433 Title: With Murder In Mind (1992) aka With Savage Intent Medium: TV Movie Actress: Elizabeth Montgomery, Mary Ann Hagan Description: In a dramatization of a true story, a drug dealer (IIRC) posing as a prospective property buyer ties up both women, cuffing their hands behind their backs, binding their ankles with white rope, and gagging both of them with stiff white napkins (Continuity problems give us a 2-for-1 cleave and overgag sequence). You don't see any tying on screen, but you do see Hagan's gag being tied tightly. Both women struggle quite a bit on the kitchen floor. This sequence occurs early on (it may begin in the first fifteen minutes). Warning: Montgomery's character is shot during the sequence. Although she survives, she rather painfully makes her way afterwards to a telephone while still bound to try and call for help. This may bother some viewers. |
