Our view of all this is *very* marginal, little more than a brief longshot through Colonel O'Neil's monocular. A Publicity Photo of this scene is available in issue #75 of "XPOSÉ" magazine. |

Record number: 11528 Title: Stargate SG-1 aka Stargåte SG-1 aka Stargate: SG-1 Medium: TV Series Actress: Amanda Tapping Description: Episode: "Fire and Water" (1.12) For the bulk of this episode, SG-1 is convinced that Daniel Jackson is dead, having been killed on an alien planet. Eventually, they start to realize their memories have been tampered with. Sam (Amanda) undergoes hypnosis, & remembers the entire team being abducted by a fish-man alien dude. There are brief flashbacks of closeups of Sam (& the SG-1 fellas) with their heads pinned to a headrest by clear plastic straps across the forehead & chin. Sam (& the others) have a dazed expression, but she *is* remembering it happened, so I guess she *was* conscious, & that makes it a "sleepy" scene. :-) Later, we see the apparatus in use on Daniel, and learn it has wrist & ankle restraints, but (unfortunately) all we see of Sam is the way-too-brief closeup of her beautiful face. Did I mention she's dripping wet? :-) |

Record number: 2886 Title: Nash Bridges Medium: TV Series Actress: Lisa McCullough, Kristy Connelly Description: Episode: "Most Wanted" (3.9) The first character, Tysa DeFranco (McCullough), is found sitting in the gym shower tied up. Kind of an interesting tie here. Her wrists are tied together in front and the rope is passed around her neck so she can't drop her hands down. Her ankles are also tied, and she has rope tying her knees together. She is gagged with sports wrap (or white tape or something). (Her male manager is also sitting bound beside her.) Scene occured about 48 minutes with commercials for me. The second character, Katherine (Connelly), is found (I won't say where, it might ruin the show for some people) roughly 56 minutes in with commercials (near the very end of the episode). She is lying on her back in the dark when they rescue her. Her hands are taped together in front and she is gagged with silver duct tape. No shot of the ankles, but the same guy did both ties, so we can assume she is tied the same way. |

Record number: 9014 Title: No Way Out (1950) Medium: Movie Actress: Linda Darnell Description: Outstanding and lenghty handgag for an amazingly cute Linda Darnell, in that J. Mankiewicz classic drama from 1950. Near the end of the movie, the bad guy, Richard Widmark, and his deaf mute associate, await her in her flat in order to give her a lesson (this violent racist thinks she's much too friendly with an african-american doctor he especially hates). Wearing skirt and heels, she is first grabbed from behind as she returns home. Quick scene, dark light. Widmark does the talking, his brother the handgagging. Then comes the great moment: after Widmark has punched the girl in the stomach, he asks his brother to put his hand on her mouth, while he speaks to her (she is now seated). There comes one of the best handgags in movie history: a lenghty scene in close-up, excellent lighting, with beautiful facial expressions of distress from the lovely brunette. She looks at Widmark, frightened, turns her head back, with the hand of the other guy still firmly clamped over her mouth. Truly, this scene belongs to the hall of fame! |

Record number: 2190 Title: The Thief of Bagdad (1940) Medium: Movie Actress: June Duprez Description: Back in the days when Technicolor was a special effect, Prince Achmad (John Justin) has been blinded and cast into a dungeon as a captive of the wicked Grand Vizier Jaffar (gee, where have we heard that name before?). He meets Abu the Thief (played by Sabu), son of Abu the Thief, grandson of Abu the Thief who helps him escape and go on a series of adventures involving genies, flying horses, flying carpets and a beautiful princess (Duprez). What the beateous Duprez sees in that wimp of a prince eludes me, but they get captured by Jaffar and are bound spreadeagled in a dungeon. At the end of the film, Duprez is led out onto a parapet with her wrists bound behind her, before Achmed finishes off the evil Vizier. |

She's dressed casually: jeans, T-shirt, & sweatshirt (or sweater). No gag, no closeups of the cuffs, & the scene is *very* brief |
