Just past the 30-minute mark, we see one female (Edmonds) and one male officer seated back-to-back on top of a bomb. Both are cleave gagged with their hands cuffed behind. Several nice closeups as Doe tries to figure out the hint the killer has given him and defuse the bomb, which he ultimately does. Around the 50-minute mark, Doe finds computer expert Stella (Sharma) cleave gagged and tied with her hands over her head in a large tank that is rapidly filling with water. The killer reveals himself and offers Doe a choice: catch the bad guy or save the girl. Needless to say, Doe chooses the latter, and smashes the tank just as Stella is about to drown. |

Record number: 11303 Title: Doctor Who (2005) Medium: TV Series Actress: Billie Piper Description: Episode: "The Unquiet Dead" (1.3) In Cardiff at Christmas 1869, Rose Tyler (Piper) is chloroformed and bundled into a hearse by an undertaker and his reluctant female assistant. The Doctor, Charles Dickens (!) and Mr D's driver follow the hearse to the funeral parlour, where Rose awakes lying on a table surrounded by alien-possessed corpses, one of which arises and grabs her, giving her a brief but firm handgag while our heroes argue with the undertaker outside. She breaks free and calls for help, whereupon Dickens and the Doc enter and rescue her. Rose then berates the undertaker for drugging and kidnapping her ("...and don't imagine I didn't notice you having a quick feel, you dirty old man!") and leaving her in a room full of zombies, while the Doc, grinning broadly, enjoys Rose's display of feistiness and the old guy's discomfiture. Curiously, although the Doctor and Rose initially think they have landed in 1860, at the height of the crinoline craze, Rose chooses from the Tardis's wardrobe an off-the-shoulder soft-bustle dress in dark red, the latest fashion in 1869. |

She manages to stay alive, hanging by her neck, by holding the noose just loose enough. Later, she is bound standing atop a commode in a public restroom with her hands cuffed above her head, gagged with gaffers tape with a wire noose around her neck. It's rigged so that if she slips off the stall or lowers her hands, the wire noose strangles her. You can see it cut deeply into her neck in a couple of shots. Extensive scene as the psycho killer taunts her while bound. |
