Pulitzer, Joely Fisher, Judy Kain, Kelly McGillis Description: The movie begins with fragmented scenes of Pulitzer strapped to a chair and being suffocated with a plastic bag over her head during the opening credits. About half an hour in, Fisher is abducted and placed in a foam-lined box in the back of a truck, where she is shown in close-up shots with a tight black cleave-gag. Later she is shown strapped to a bed with her wrists over her head and still cleave-gagged as her captor comes into the room and chloroforms her. Soon afterward he seats her at a table and pulls the gag out to feed her, but puts it back in as she defies him. He suffocates Fisher in the same manner as the first victim, but the bonds holding her to the chair aren't shown. Towards the end of the film, the killer tries to kidnap McGillis, and she realizes that she had escaped from him after he had abducted her years before. Soon afterward he grabs Kain as his final victim, throwing her onto a bed cleave-gagged with her hands cuffed behind her back. When McGillis comes to her rescue, she finds the room where Fisher was held, with Kain lying strapped to the bed and cleave-gagged the same way. This scene is intercut with flashback scenes of McGillis tied with her arms over her head and cleave-gagged as she is whipped by the abductor (there is also a very brief shot of this a little earlier), and lying on the bed bound and gagged like the present victim. |
