| NIGHT SHIFT is a (I assume) locally-produced low-budget program, with a private eye film noir parody segment, "Dick Wu".
Last week, the femme fatale was chloroed and abducted. The baddie has told Dick to come to a certain address if he ever wants to see her again. To be continued ... The segment came in about the 20' mark of the half hour show, but I don't know if they keep to a consistent schedule ... I'd advise checking in from the start. |

I just checked the show's site, and it appears that the next installment won't be for three weeks (Episode 8) ... assuming the program will air each week. In any event, anything of interest appears doubtful, going by the image gallery. There are a couple of shots of "Loretta" chloroformed ... but the succeeding images have her only draped in thick rope, not really bound, and not gagged. There *is* a "Dick Wu" vidclip on the Episode 8 page, which I can't play. Perhaps someone could check it and report back. |

Shortly afterwards, she is led to the auction block where her "charms" are shown to the crowd of buyers. For this scene she is barefoot, and chained at the wrists and ankles. Some other female slaves can be seen in the background. |

Jody Marken (Murphy) is strapped by the wrists and ankles to some sort of metal chair and is gagged with duct tape. She's menaced by the psycho slasher before being rescued. Murphy's scene is in the last hour, possibly the last 30 minutes. |
