In a lengthy scene (excluding a long cutaway scene) she is tied with her hands in front, and her feet are bound with a belt. She is threatened with mace, sealed in a coffin, and buried. Her bondage isn't especially tight because her captors only needed to hold her long enough to get her in the coffin, where she squirms free of the belt at her ankles, and cuts through the ropes at her wrists. There are closeups of her bonds as she escapes them. |

Record number: 2229 Title: Fight for Justice: The Nancy Conn Story (1995) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Marilu Henner, Peri Gilpin Description: Marilu Henner ("Taxi") and Peri Gilpin ("Frasier") are abducted in a parking lot by a rapist(Doug Savant from "Melrose Place"). He drives them to a wooded area, where he orders them to strip. Marilu and Peri both strip down to full-length, one-piece undergarments. After having his way with them (not shown) he then drives them away in his car, both not tied. He stops the car on a deserted road and orders both women out. He ties their hands behind their backs and forces them into the trunk of his car. No gags. He then stops at a landfill area and tries to kill them by sticking a tube from the tailpipe into the trunk area. Marilu and Peri struggle inside and eventually work themselves free and escape. They barely escape but are left to die in the blazing sun when the rapist takes off. A worker finds them laying in a pile of dirt the next day. Marilu survives and they eventually catch the rapist. The original version on network television showed much more of the abduction and strip scene than Lifetime does in the rebroadcasts. The network TV version had many more shots of Marilu and Peri being tied up and laying in the trunk together before the rapist closed the trunk door. |
