| Rex, ep: "Drôle de cadeau" Record number: 8170 Title: Kommissar Rex Medium: TV Series Actress: Elke Winkens, Andrea Haendler Description: Episode: "Happy Birthday" (8.10) German/Austrian coproduction, a detective series located in Vienna. Female police detective Niki (Elke Winkens) is taken hostage by two diamond robbers who want to trade her for the loot. Niki is tied to an office chair with rope (hands behind her back). She is wearing trousers and a tank top. The bad guys also put a pair of headphones on her, obviously so that she can't follow their conversation (turns out this is essential to the plot) - which makes the episode a big tease because they do not resort to the much more logical measures (gagging/blindfolding her). There are also several good shots of the villains' female accomplice Iris (Andrea Haendler) who is already in custody and in handcuffs. First handcuffed in front, later one hand cuffed to a handle inside a car. |

About 55 minutes into the episode, she and her "normal" son are bound hand and foot and gagged with checked scarves (She's detective gagged, he's cleave-gagged, go figure) to serve as bait for the father, a cop played by Gary Cole. Ropes are somewhat loosely wrapped around their bodies securing their arms to their sides. Ankles are also tied. Nice mmmphing and struggling. Ms. Boyd and son are bound on the porch of their old, now abandoned, house. |

Next we see her from behind, kneeling with her hands tied behind her back and still hooded in the dungeon of her archrival Atia (Polly Walker), whom she's unsuccessfully tried to murder by hiring someone to poison her. Atia has had Servilia abducted and brought before her to extract her revenge, which starts with pulling the hood off so she can taunt her captive face to face. There follows an implied sexual assault, evinced largely by the house servants reacting to her screams coming up from below. Then there is a very brief close-up shot of her midsection, as Atia's hired torturer applies a couple of strokes of the lash. Next we see her again from behind, her wrists tied together over her head. When Atia approaches her to ask if she's had enough, she raises her exceedingly bloody face to defiantly spit at her captor. Atia directs the torturer to continue, but he instead cuts the rope over Servilia's wrists and escorts her outside, where she scurries off with her hands still tied. |

Record number: 1599 Title: The X-Files Medium: TV Series Actress: Gillian Anderson Description: Episode: "Orison" (7.7) In this sequel to "Irresistible", Scully (Anderson) is grabbed in her house by the escaped serial killer from the previous episode. Scene begins in the last fifteen minutes or so (32 minutes in without commercials). Scully is wearing grey pajamas and fuzzy slippers and after a short fight scene, she has her wrists tied behind her back with a pair of pantyhose and is handgagged by the bad guy. A bit later, the bad guy is dragging her, now stuffgagged with a white cloth and tightly cleave-gagged with a tan coloured stocking and with ankles bound together into a closet. She struggles for a bit before finally escaping from the closet by turning the doorknob with her hands bound together behind her. Then she slithers along the floor, under the bed and out the other side of the bed - occasionally pausing to hide from the killer as he passes through the room. Eventually she manages to slip her hands over her feet (which are not not tied up anymore) to bring them in front. Between the abduction and the end, the scene lasts about 7.5 minutes. Lots of struggling, mmphing, etc. |
