Record number: 11607 Title: Wolf Creek (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Cassandra Magrath, Kestie Morassi Description: Chilling Naturalistic Horror movie about 3 tourists (2 female, 1 fella) in the Australian outback who fall foul of an evil Crocodile Dundee. About 50 minutes in they are secretly drugged, and fall asleep. Cut to Magrath who comes to in a shed, her wrists are tightly bound palms together in front of her and her ankles tied, both with black plastic ties and there is a cloth gag between her teeth. As realization dawns she pulls the gag free then struggles and tests her bonds,even attempting to open the door and escape while bound. Lighting in this scene suggests a full day passes before she finds a shard of glass on the floor and cuts herself free with it. Magrath is wearing grey combats and a blue t-shirt, no shoes. On escaping she follows the sound of screaming and sees Morassi in a corrugated iron building, she is wearing nothing but a bloodstained shirt, her hands bound around the back of a metal post. Her captor is torturing her both mentally and physically while she begs him to stop. When Magrath creates a diversion the man cleve gags Morassi and goes to investigate. Magrath enters the shed and tries to calm her now hysterical friend but is forced to hide when the man returns. While he taunts Morassi some more she grabs his gun, shooting him. She unties Morassi's hands but Morassi struggles to remove her gag. I would add that the caveat that this second scene has an unpleasant and sadistic nature that may not be to everyone's taste |

Record number: 11528 Title: Stargate SG-1 aka Stargåte SG-1 aka Stargate: SG-1 Medium: TV Series Actress: Amanda Tapping Description: Episode: "Fire and Water" (1.12) For the bulk of this episode, SG-1 is convinced that Daniel Jackson is dead, having been killed on an alien planet. Eventually, they start to realize their memories have been tampered with. Sam (Amanda) undergoes hypnosis, & remembers the entire team being abducted by a fish-man alien dude. There are brief flashbacks of closeups of Sam (& the SG-1 fellas) with their heads pinned to a headrest by clear plastic straps across the forehead & chin. Sam (& the others) have a dazed expression, but she *is* remembering it happened, so I guess she *was* conscious, & that makes it a "sleepy" scene. :-) Later, we see the apparatus in use on Daniel, and learn it has wrist & ankle restraints, but (unfortunately) all we see of Sam is the way-too-brief closeup of her beautiful face. Did I mention she's dripping wet? :-) |

Record number: 1478 Title: Angel (1999) Medium: TV Series Actress: Charisma Carpenter Description: Episode: "Parting Gifts" (1.10) In Charisma Carpenter's long awaited debut to being bound and gagged, at the 35 minute mark of the episode she is attacked by a demon she thought was harmless. He throws her on a table and ties her hands behind her with cord. After she gets up she kicks him and runs her hands tied behind her back. The demon catches her and punches her. When she wakes up she's on her side on a bed, hogtied with rope and cleave-gagged with a white cloth. She strains as she looks around at her predicament, and closes her eyes as the demon and his assistant enter the room. She is next seen being brought into an auction room bound with her hands behind her and cleave-gagged with the white cloth. The demon's assistant takes her gag off and she is auctioned off while standing in front of a group with her hands still tied behind her. She is next seen after the auction again cleave-gagged with the white cloth and with her hands tied behind her. She makes a lot of faces as she hears them talking about removing her eyes. The demon's assistant moves in with a menacing tool to remove her eyes, as she sits still bound and gagged in a chair, and Angel and his lackey break in. A fight ensues as Charisma watches. Angel's lackey, during the fight, come to her aid and asks if she's OK. Sheshakes her head and he lowers her gag and cuts her well tied hands loose. During her DiD scene Charisma does a good job of making various facial expressions indicating fear, rolls her eyes at times, strains against her gag at times, and mmphs a little. A great must-see scene. |
