I've never seen the scene, that I recall, but even if it's like the old DRAGNET sequence (i.e., one in which you could mentally switch the context to "just an actor playing dead" ... nothing gruesome), the intel is that she's never shown gagged ... the scarf is around her neck. |

Record number: 11903 Title: The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: January Jones Description: Short but sweet scene for the nicely named Ms. Jones (no relation to her costar Tommy Lee Jones) in this modern western. We see her in a comfy chair with her hands tied in front with white rope, and brown ropes above and below her breasts binding her to the chair. She's sporting a duct tape gag. Her captor almost immediately covers her with a blanket, so the bonds are visible only briefly, but we get a few more shots of her gagged face after that. The scene lasts about a minute altogether. |

Record number: 8758 Title: Wrong Turn (2003) Medium: Movie Actress: Eliza Dushku, Emmanuelle Chriqui Description: 33 minutes into the movie, Carly (Chriqui) is briefly handgagged by Jeremy Sisto. 58 min in, Jessie (Dushku) is handgagged by the male lead (Desmond Harrington). Pretty good scene with some good mmpphing. Longer, but darker (outside at night). The good stuff starts 69 minutes in. You see Jessie tied spread eagle to a bed with metal wire. Not a loosie. She is also gagged with a black leather braided belt between the teeth. Lots of struggling and talking through the gag. Unfortunately, the gag talk is easily comprehensible, marring an onterwise great scene. She is later rescued. Scene lasts about 4 minutes, but there is a fight scene going on at the same time, so the camera does move around. Still, you probably won't dissappointed by the scene. |
