Dressed in a black bra & panties Brooks lies on her back on the bed and allows Zane to tie her wrists together above her head with a black leather strap. They then proceed to make love, and she loses her scant clothing in the process, bringing her bound arms down around her partners shoulders. Later the couple find themselves shipwrecked alongside a shiphand and a love triangle develops. Driven insane by jealousy Zane kidnaps Brook about 80m into the film. As he talks to her the camera revels she is stood outside their wooden shelter, hands tied behind her back with rope and cleve gagged with a rolled white cloth. A noose around her neck is tethered to the top of the post she is standing against. Zane taunts her and reminds her she was similarly tied during one of their 'games' in 2001. Then as the men fight over her Brook uses her foot to pull what looks like a beer crate in front of her and climbs on it. Rubbing her face against the top of the post she dislodges the gag and then uses her teeth to free her tether from the post. With her hands still tied behind her she throws herself at Zane pushing him over then runs off with the other man. When we see her again she is untied. She is wearing a yellow hooded fleece and green sarong skirt. |

| Title: High Crimes (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Ashley Judd, Amanda Peet Description: Around the 50' mark (with ads), there's a brief shot of Amanda Peet tapegagged during a home invasion. Scene lasts only a few seconds. I couldn't tell how she was tied (the intruder may have been disturbed before he had time to secure her). About nine minutes from the end, the real killer ( I won't give away the twist) grabs Ashley Judd, firmly clamps his hand over her mouth, and drags her into the house. He then ties her arms behind her back and hogties her. The hogtie is not tight (her knees not bent much), more incidental as the same length of (telephone?) cord used to tie her wrists behind is also used for her ankles. She is able to roll off the couch where she was tied and across the floor towards a gun that was dropped during the final fight. She manages to work her hands free just in time to get the gun and save herself. The scene is dark and the cuts are quick. She's wearing a bathrobe and white socks. |

| Title: Chupacabra: Dark Seas (2005) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Chelan Simmons aka Chelan Simmon Description: A delightful DiD in a decent and lengthy bondage scene make some headway in redeeming this TV movie. About 70 minutes in [with commercials], the Evil Scientist of the piece decides that the best bait with which to lure the eponymous monster is the winsome and blonde "Jenny" [Simmons]. After administering a syringe of knockout drops, he tosses the lass over his shoulder and adjourns to the galley of the ship where all of this takes place. Next we find the damsel seated on a table with several strands of fairly tight rope encircling her chest. No leg bondage and no gag, but the absence of the latter allows her to set forth with a series of LOUD, protracted screams that the late Fay Wray might well have saluted. She struggles nicely in several scenes over the next 5 minutes as the monster stalks her, but she's rescued in the end. "Jenny's" DiD costuming consists of blue jeans and a formfitting yellow tank top that does much to emphasize her obvious assets. |

| In a very rare televising - hey, I don't recall it ever being on TV - one of the absolute all time movie classics. Showing on IFC Friday night at midnight, repeating a few hours later at 3 AM (Eastern) on Saturday morning. Worth staying up for, IMO. Record number: 1617 Title: Eaten Alive (1976) aka Death Trap aka Horror Hotel aka Murder on the Bayou Medium: Movie Actress: Marilyn Burns Description: Scream queen Marilyn Burns (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) stars in one of the most intense bondage scenes ever filmed in a mainstream Hollywood production. Unlike the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (which is intentionally unerotic and disturbing), this movie features our heroine duct taped by an insane, horny old man. We see her duct taped in the bathroom and dragged to a bed in the step-by-step detail any bondage freak would truly love. She mmmphs and struggles against the black duct tape around her wrists and ankles and mouth while dressed in a nightie. You get a good glimpse of her bare feet |

Versions of the film usually aired on British TV are the same, but the first cut I ever saw (also on TV) had a scene in which Redford started by saying, "I need your car." He proceeded to tie her up against her protestations, and just before he gagged her, she said, "This is not fair!" There were several almost-closeups of her face being gagged and struggling as Redford left. The order of scenes is also changed in subsequent versions; the original sequence made the narrative much clearer. |

| Toward the end of the movie, "Melanie Daniels" (Tippi Hedren) is attacked by the birds alone in an upstairs room. In one closeup shot, one of the birds is against her mouth, covering her mouth and symbolically "gagging" her. It seems possible that director Alfred Hitchcock included this shot specifically for that purpose. The scene begins when everyone except Tippi Hedren is asleep, she hears a noise upstairs, and she goes upstairs to investigate. |
