Record number: 488 Title: The Big Hit (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: China Chow Description: China Chow (a beautiful eurasian model) is restrained in various ways beginning at around the 32' mark (with commercials). She wears a schoolgirl outfit -- plaid, pleated miniskirt; starched white dress shirt and tie; and cute little white shoes. She is kidnapped by a gang that includes the benevolent Mark Wahlberg. The gang binds her hands behind her with silver handcuffs, and she is handgagged during the initial scene. After this, her ankles are tied with a white towel, and she is cleavegagged with another strip for a ride behind the back seat of an SUV. Mark ends up keeping her at his house in the suburbs. When they arrive, he cuffs her hands in front around a pole in his basement. Later, he moves her to another house, where he tries to keep her hidden from his fiancée and her parents. Her hands are cuffed behind her and her legs are tied, so she hops around the house mmphing through her towel gag in several scenes. Mark finally puts her in the back of his SUV, parked out of the way in the garage. He accidentally conks her on the head with the hatchback as he closes it. While he is otherwise occupied, the family takes it out for a drive, never noticing the unconscious China. When they return, Mark wraps her in a sleeping bag and hides her in the house while the family leaves again. He ungags her, so she can help him cook, and then cuffs her hand to his so she will be more effective. Sparks fly, and they start to make out, when, alarmed by a possibly innocuous comment (this is one amoral story, so who knows) he makes about "something so beautiful having to die" (along those lines, at any rate), she tries to escape. She is bound and gagged as before and thrown into the small trunk of his Firebird. We don't see her again until Mark goes for a car chase in the Firebird. She is released at the end of the chase. |

| Bridget Fonda bound and gagged. In the airing shown earlier on OXYGEN, Bridget Fonda was taken by Jennifer Jason-Leigh at gunpoint at about the 1 hour 25 minute mark, then there was a commercial, then the bondage scene started just after the 1 hour 30 minute mark. The scene times should be the same in this airing. |

It's a lengthly sequence. She's later released, other than her ankles being taped together, to use her laptop. Finally, she is on her back on the floor. Tape encircles her ankles, knees, and arms, and pins her wrists to her side. Again, she's gagged with tape. |

Thirteen years later (1 hour 20 in the movie) her character, now Famke Janssen, has her hands tied in front with maybe the same rope, in the back seat of a car and later standing near it, and frees herself with her teeth (dark scene). |

Record number: 4887 Title: Murder on the Orient Express (1974) Medium: Movie Actress: Ingrid Bergman Description: Bergman plays nurse Greta Ohlsson, a role for which she won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Her character appears in three extremely brief shots in which she's shown from behind, roped to a chair lying on its left side (she had been one of the caretakers of a toddler kidnapped from her well-to-do parents). The first, about three minutes in, is rather dark; the other two, at about an hour and 15 minutes and an hour and 50 minutes respectively, are better lit, but somewhat shorter. Her bound wrists are clearly visible in all three, and it appears she may be wrap-gagged and possibly blindfolded, but since we only see her from behind, it's hard to tell for sure. In fact, it isn't certain that the person in the chair is really Bergman at all. Bergman was nearly sixty when this film was made, and may well not have been inclined-or even allowed-to do such a scene herself. Either she or the studio may have opted to use a stunt double. |
