Record number: 6772 Title: Law & Order: Criminal Intent Medium: TV Series Actress: Marianne Hagan, Stephi Lineburg, Bailey Slattery Description: Episode: "Homo Homini Lupis" (1.14) A loan shark kidnaps an embezzling executive's family as collateral for a huge debt. The ladies are blindfolded, shackled, gagged with duct tape. One character is raped by their menacing captor -- off screen, mercifully. The scene, despite this shortcomming, is a multi-damsel scene (a rare kind of scene that is always welcome in my book) with a reasonable length with some decent close-ups especially those of the mother and the elder daughter. In addition, the mother told the police that she and her daughters were "tied up" in a bathroom at a rest area on the NY Thruway when they were found by her father-in-law. Too bad they did not show the rescue! While I personally could have done without the rape scene, I have to admit that such scene certainly added to the episode's drama and suspense. Moreover, that scene gave a very credible sense of urgency and determination to police's efforts to catch the bad guy and also contributed greatly to the victims' ultimate decision to assist the police. Hence, the rape scene made a major contribution to the plot of the episode. |

One of the guys takes the topless Laura, begins fondling her, then throws her on her stomach. He reaches over for some rope while she screams "Don't . . . don't . . . DON'T TIE ME UP!", but he does anyway. He hears a noise outside and investigates as his buddy ties up the girlfriend. They struggle as the two guys are killed by Laura's father, who then takes Laura and the other girl to an abadoned railroad car, where he menaces them before killing his daughter. Sheryl Lee wears a white corset, matching stockings, panties and a garter belt. This is a movie that is a prequel to the series "Twin Peaks". |

| For those who get this show yesterdays episode ended with a stout middle aged Indian woman(as in India)being held prisoner by some bad guys apparently wanting her husband to do something. There was a shot of her with her hands tied in front and with a black tape gag, a picture they text to her husband. Scene should continue today. As the above show is in Italian I'm just surmising what is going on. |
