Fairly lengthy scene of her struggling across the floor of a morgue through broken glass to get to a fire alarm. No gag. |

| Title: Rio Bravo (1959) Medium: Movie Actress: Estelita Rodriguez Description: This western stars John Wayne as the sheriff in a small town. He's friends with a local Spanish couple that runs the hotel. At one part the bad guys try to get him while he's in the hotel and the girl, Consuela is tied up and gagged in the other room. She is bound to a chair and cleave-gagged with a yellow cloth. There is only one pretty good close-up and her husband gets B&G too, so try to ignore him. Unfortunately, his gagging happens on screen, and hers does not. Ms. Rodriguez is very cute, however. A good, but brief scene. It starts about 3/4 through the movie. (About 30 to 40 minutes from the end with adverts). The actress is also shown a few minutes later being ungagged and forced to scream as part of the plot to capture the good guys. Again, pretty brief. There are a couple of real quick scenes later showing her from the side or back - blink and you miss them. A real crime that heroine Angie Dickenson didn't get a scene here as she is at the peak of her considerable attractiveness. PS-This movie kicks ass, especially if you like westerns! |

Short scene takes place about three-quarters of the way through the film. |

| Title: Double Jeopardy (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Ashley Judd Description: Just under 50 minutes in, she's being escorted back to prison by her parole officer (Tommy Lee Jones), who, after parking his car on a ferry, decides he can use a cup of coffee, but apparently doesn't want to buy one for his charge. He leaves her sitting in the car's front passenger seat with her right wrist handcuffed to the old Ford's protruding type outside door handle-and the car keys dangling in the ignition lock. Once he's out of sight, she takes a quick look around and figures she can break the door handle off and escape if she can manage to run it up against a standpipe on the ferry's deck. She fires the car up and spends the next few minutes ramming into the cars behind and ahead of her, ultimately pushing the one in front off the deck. By the time Jones figures out what she's trying to do and comes running, she nearly has the handle off, and is shown frantically pulling at the cuffs as he gets back to the car. After he smashes the window and hops in, she hits the gas and sends them flying off the deck into the water. There's a good shot of her straining at the cuffs as the car goes under, followed by an underwater sequence of Jones struggling with the handcuff key as it continues to descend. |

The sheriff and another tie her hands behind her against the railing at the front of the church. It appears one is tieing her feet, but you never see the rope since she is wearing a long white cotton nightgown. She remains like that until Dee Wallace (her mom) comes in a unties her. We get to see her untie the rope and this is the only time we she what she is tied with. This ends her tie up at around the 85' mark. |

| Title: High Crimes (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Ashley Judd, Amanda Peet Description: Around the 50' mark (with ads), there's a brief shot of Amanda Peet tapegagged during a home invasion. Scene lasts only a few seconds. I couldn't tell how she was tied (the intruder may have been disturbed before he had time to secure her). About nine minutes from the end, the real killer ( I won't give away the twist) grabs Ashley Judd, firmly clamps his hand over her mouth, and drags her into the house. He then ties her arms behind her back and hogties her. The hogtie is not tight (her knees not bent much), more incidental as the same length of (telephone?) cord used to tie her wrists behind is also used for her ankles. She is able to roll off the couch where she was tied and across the floor towards a gun that was dropped during the final fight. She manages to work her hands free just in time to get the gun and save herself. The scene is dark and the cuts are quick. She's wearing a bathrobe and white socks. |

The villain Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman) treats her with a gun to get important information from Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) whose also cuffed to a chair. The scene continues during the last 20 minutes. Owen shoots Julia, but suprise it was not her it was the incompetently female bodyguard of Owen with an - since Peter Graves succesfull time - typical Mission Impossible second face. Julia is still alive and kept at another place. Ethan is later just right at her real hideout where he finds her ... ah you guess right ... cuffed to a chair and gagged with silver tape. Davian rips off the tape fight against a few baddies and frees her finally. There is good mmpphing and struggling. Actually the scenes are a lot better and longer than the above description implies, especially the last scene. |
