Record number: 104 Title: Matlock Medium: TV Series Actress: Nancy Stafford Description: Episode: "The Abduction" (6.17) Michelle is abducted from her car early on (nothing physical -- just a gun pulled on her). About ten minutes in she's shown seated in a chair, her wrists bound in front, ankles tied, and cleavegagged with white cloth in a short scene. The gag is pulled out to allow her to talk to Ben. About five minutes later, she's again shown in a brief head and shoulders shot, the gag around her neck, again speaking to Ben on the phone. Around the 35' mark, she's shown regagged in a longer scene that lasts over a minute, with several closeups. Ben has tracked down her location and knocks on the door in a ruse to confirm she's there. One of her captors handgags her and carries her over his shoulder into a back room (the actual visual for the carry is very brief) while the other perp goes to the door to talk to Matlock. Ben sees her keys and informs the police, but they find no trace of Michelle when they arrive. She's been moved to a mob boss' mansion. Ben sneaks in, and discovers her about 58' in, accompanied by a bad man with a gun. She's gagged with her wrists bound in front. A shot rings out, but it's a police-issue projectile, and with the danger passed, Ben ungags and unties Michelle. Ms. Stafford wears a one-piece suit dress and heels. There's also a side view reprised closeup still of her gagged in the closing credits. |

In the final 30 minutes, Rebecca is knocked out by said sister (Roxana Zal). The scene begins with a close-up of Gallager awakening and finding herself bound to a chair. Her wrists are crossed and secured with duct tape behind her back and her feet (she is wearing black boots) are also taped together. There is much dialogue between the sisters, including a demand by Rebecca to "untie me now!". Gallagher is eventually tape gagged. There is plenty of "mmmphing" and two close-ups of her bound wrists. When the boyfriend turns up looking for her, the sister gags her with more tape to keep her silent. She scoots her chair to a radiator and there are several side views of her sawing the tape against metal to free herself. She eventually takes the tape off her feet and mouth and is briefly shown with tape still clinging to her wrists while rushing to rescue her boyfriend. Rebecca is wearing a red V-neck sweater top, black pants and the aforementioned boots. |

Achilles releases her. Although the scene where she is bound is very brief, throughout the rest of the movie her wrists are shown with the bruises and even the scars left by her bindings, suggesting that she was bound very tightly and cruelly for a prolonged period of time. Alas, we don't get to see it. Still, a very unusual sight in most movies. |
