Monday December 16 00:05:52 2019 Most Likely to Murder |
In the last 5 minutes of this Lifetime (who else?) movie, Bayley Corman is knocked out by Madison McLaughlin with a fire extinguisher and wakes up gagged and bound with duct tape to a chair. She's only taped by the wrists and the tape gag is barely bigger than a postage stamp. There's some taunting by captor Madison before she's left alone. She is able to free herself offscreen. Short but sweet scene. |

> I would add that when she is untying herself, she leaves in the cleave gag and is really chomping down on it. Straight on camera shot of this. Very nice indeed. ~~~~ Several other comments I'll note: 1) Her first untying scene includes an example of "Damsel hears one of her captors returning to the bedroom, and she slips her wrists back into the rope-loops, replaces her blindfold, and feigns she's asleep". 2) For fans of elegant damsels, Danielle C. Ryan wears a red evening dress having attended a classical music concert. 3) The searching-sister is either 1st or 2nd-Violin in a well-known traveling orchestra. Yet we never see a violin outside the concert. Even Sherlock Holmes played the violin (at the oddest hours) while he was investigating cases! |

Gag was too thin but not that terrible. Also liked the damsel was like a foot taller than her captor. |

But of course everyone's mileage may vary. Last two movies included a good cleave gag scene. I hope Mr cage will give us some more in 2020. Think The next movie will be jiu jitsu featuring The lovely Marie avgeropoulos. Lets hope she end at any point gagged. |

Monday December 16 08:57:50 2019 Watchmen s1 ep9 (last) |
Bad news for us gag-snobs. Laurel Blake (Jean Smart) only tied for half the episode. However the series is beautiful. |

Monday December 16 11:26:24 2019 You Season 2 |
New season of You drops on Netflix on Dec 26. Not sure who the actress is, or which episode, or if it will be worth checking out, but there is at least one scene of interest, which is more than can be said about the entire first season. https://i.imgur.com/L9PaLkw.jpg |

HEADS UP! There are 2 movies by this title: one is a comedy from 2018, and the other is the recent Lifetime flick in question. |

Monday December 16 20:21:44 2019 Miss Fisher And The Crypt Of Tears 2020 |
Interesting news from down under. 1920's Flapper sleuth Miss Fisher played by the lovely Essie Davis gets her own movie follow-up to her tv series which ended some years back. Ably assisted by her cute maid Ashleigh Cummings(of NOS4A2 fame), Miss Fisher travels from Australia to Morocco in search of priceless emeralds and lost tribes et cetera. Shades of Tintin/Indiana Jones pulp adventure with two very attractive ladies. Absolute possibility of damsel action for one or both leads. Something to watch out for and I'm sure our Aussie mates will let us know if anything hopefully does eventuate |

The damsel is gorgeous and she wears the gag well. It looks like the tape was longer in a couple of the close ups. They says this was based on a true story but I doubt very much a cheerleader was left bound and gagged in a locker room while the killer accepted prom queen honors in the gym. Too bad they didn't show her getting free, that was a downer. |

I watched every episode of that show (the one about the guy who ran the bookstore and was also kind of a stalker and the girl he liked named "Beck", and he ends up killing her in the end?) and I never saw that scene. Or am I thinking of the wrong show? The one I watched ran for a season, the girl you thought as the heroine (Beck) got killed in the final episode, and that was it...I figured it was either a limited run series or like American Horror Story, where each season is a totally different show basically. |
