It was along the lines of "I want to take the gag off so we can talk, but if you scream I'll have to put it back on." For context, the villain is Megan's long-lost Russian spy mother who's been living across the hall from her under an assumed identity. |

Sunday December 15 04:33:44 2019 His Deadly Affair Scene |
Surprised there hasn't been more discussion of Danielle Turner's scene in the Lifetime Movie Network film "His Deadly Affair" which aired Friday night. Since it airs again today (see Alerts) I'll provide some details on what I think was a fantastic scene. Turner is handgagged at 37 minutes in (with commercials) then breaks free and is knocked out and thrown in the back of car. About a minute later we see her still unconscious and tied to a large bed, arms outstretched to either side and tied with black rope. Her bare feet (ankles) are tied together and to the footboard with one ankle cuffed to it for good measure. She's wearing a red dress and is cleave gagged and blindfolded with black cloths. Gina Holden comes in and yells at her accomplice for not putting her in the basement and they argue while Turner lays there still knocked out. She wakes up and Holden tells her to unlock her cell phone but she won't. She then mmmpphs the word "water" and Holden wets a rag and drips some on her gagged mouth. She then dumps the pitcher in her face causing Turner to choke and cough through the gag. She unlocks the phone with her bound hand and then Holden starts texting her husband and Turner's sister pretending to be Turner. Holden removes the blindfold and later puts it back. Then the plot continues with the usual Lifetime type stuff. But Danielle Turner stays bound for the rest of the film and there are lots of shots of her from many different angles. At one point she manages to untie herself but is almost immediately recaptured and retied the same way. There are some great full body shots of her on the bed from above and some bed level angles. She's gagged and blindfolded through much of the film and sometimes just gagged, plus some gag talk. There are closeups of her bound hands, lots of her bound struggling (rope burned) bare feet, closeups of her gagged mouth, closeups of her water (and later sweat soaked) chest and a couple of pans of one of her bound outstretched arms. And there a few scenes where she's alone and struggling like crazy. Everything is well lit. All in all I thought was top notch. |

Sunday December 15 08:13:01 2019 Ulrike Folkerts major DiD-scene MISSING! |
My fellow DiDoids, we hand a problem. Only two Ulrike DiD-scenes are listed in the dBase, both from Tatort. #5331 --- Episode: "Der kalte Tod" #22132 -- Episode: "Babbeldasch" There's at least a third episode. Ulrike (Tatort character "Lena Odenthal" is kidnapped, stripped naked, and transported across a busy harbor on the back of a boat in plain view. Her upper body is shrink-wrapped and she's gagged with a wad of shrink-wrap stuffing and a shrink-wrap cleave gag! She's taken to some sort of underwater chamber and shrink-wrapped to a horizontally suspended steel grate. She's ungagged by her kidnapper, then re-gagged. She's struggling, sweaty, and NOT happy. Later, she's rescued by her Polizei colleagues. I remember seeing a EweToob video of this years ago, and for some inexplicable reason... forgot about until stumbling upon a screencap recently. I'm not kidding! This is not April Fools joke in December! HOW THE HELL DID WE MISS THIS?? (I searched the Discussion forum back 999 days for "Ulke Folkerts" and "Tatort" without success.) Also, I just spent about three hours down the proverbial rabbit hole on the IMDB. Unfortunately, my German is VERY limited and no episode photos and/or titles popped out. Apparently, Tatort is like the various American incarnations of Law & Order and has been on German TV FOREVER. Itd has a huge ensemble cast with various detectives appearing in one to three episodes a year. Ulke has been a regular for the entire run, from 1989 to the present. Most if not all Tatort episodes are posted on EweToob, so... all we need is the episode title! If you STILL think I'm making this up, check out the following collection of totally unlabeled screencaps. (Warning: this is a porn host with the usual laughable ads.) http://www.nudedxxx.com/photo/german-actress-ulrike-folkerts-in-peril.shtml This is a HUGE GAPING HOLE in the dBase, people! |

I fully agree with Van. That episode is called "Hauch des Todes" and originally aired in August 2010. One reason it pops up now is that there was a rerun of it last Wednesday. I will post a link on the video page which I hope one of our prolific scene editors can access. |

One thing though, there is some mixup with the names. The damsel is called Heidi, which I believe is played by actress Danielle C. Ryan. The woman searching for her missing sister is Danielle Turner, played by actress Helena Mattsson. The caaracter names are easily confirmed when, during the final climax, Danielle enters the room where Heidi is held captive, and they call each other by name. |

I found a German TV site that uses the word Plastikfolie (Plastic wrap) in its writeup of "Hauch des Todes," so that's pretty encouraging However, be warned there's a posting on EweTube with the following title: 25 Tatort 768 Hauch des Todes Odenthal, Kopper 50 Ludwigshafen Based on a quick scan, it's about a cop-killer/sniper and there's not so much as a HINT of either Plastikfolie or a naked, bound, and gagged Ulrike. Imagine my disappointment. Maybe the EweToob title is the Tatort fan club's mailing address or something. |

I would add that when she is untying herself, she leaves in the cleave gag and is really chomping down on it. Straight on camera shot of this. Very nice indeed. |
