| Before everyone (Including me) get's too excited, this is NOT going to be a "true" remake. The set up plot is different (See below), and that alone might screw up our plans for a bunch of current day hotties being bound and gagged. We've all seen remakes that utterly failed to deliver. (Like Jane Seymour's JAMAICA INN). Of course, to be fair, that occasionally works the other way, as with Demi Moore in THE SCARLET LETTER. |

| Promo for the next episode of Victorinos (Monday, 8/24, Telemundo, 10PM) showed the super-hot Ximena Duque (who plays the sister of one of the "Victorinos"), being grabbed by 2 guys and thrown into a car. Then an excellent shot of her being handgagged, and hopefully more to happen. Ximena is the gorgeous girl who played the younger sister in the great scene with the 3 women in "El Rostro de Analia" in June. |

Well, since the original Mother's Day is basically a sick exploitation film rape fantasy, I'd say it's a good thing that it's not a " true" remake. And Debbie Anne Wol, the hot redhead from True Blood is in it, so hopefully she'll get shown the ropes! |

A bit cruel for my particular taste, and not THE most aesthetically pleasing restraint I will grant you, but hardly "lackluster". And in what percentage of scenes wherein the actresses' hands are apparently secured out of camera shot behind her back do you think that she is actually bound...? In many scenes the gag is all that we actually see. Anyways! Always a pleasure to make the acquaintance of a fellow Angeronian! Cheers! |

I saw the preview for Monday showing this scene. Yes, Ximena is a very gorgeous sultry Colombiana. I don't want to jinx it but I got a feeling that this could play out into a multiple night scene for the week. Let's keep our fingers crossed. |
