Also in the Movie, Fuller Brush Girl. Bonus point, in the Amateur Hour episode one of her soon-to-be captors yanks her red hair and ask, "Hey, is all this red stuff real?" "Well it should be!", she shoots back, "I paid enough for it!" |

I remember a scene from either falcon crest or the colbys where Charlton Heston Chloroforms this chick from the back seat of a car. I saw it when I was a teenager and it's still hot after all these years. The chick had on a white outfit and brown hair. Anybody remember this????? |

> SOMEBODY should have the scene. Its frustrating that The good news is that I most certainly have it on VHS somewhere. The bad news is that God alone knows where it is among upward of a couple of thousand such in self storage. The best that I can promise is that I will add it to the "priority" list for copy to DVD. For what it is worth by way of consolation, at least you know that a copy does exist and that it didnae just disapear into the aether. The first season is definitely out on PAL DVD on the Continent and I think I might have caught a glimpse of it while browsing in Virgin here in Britain. Does anyone recall which season the episode in question was in...? I think it was late on but I couldnae swear to it...? Maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part but did "Falcon Crest" no' have more than the two scenes recorded in the Database? I would swear that the awesome Susan Sullivan's character was kidnapped at some point and subsequently had her wrists secured to the arm rests of a chair in a hotel room....? Aye definitely, now that I come to think about it! Her kidnapper made her wear a dark wig. And there might have been a scene for Jane Badler, but I am far less certain about that one..? Incidentally. Susan Sullivan, Susan Howard and Nancy Stafford were 70s/80s favourites of yours truly! Along with "Knot's Landing", "Falcon Crest" was a major dissapointment DiD wise. Their plots repeatedly promised much but delivered very little indeed. And such lovely potential DiDs, including the world class red head Jamie Rose! Now that's anither yin that never got the full and proper treatment she most certainly merited! |

DAK wrote: > Oh boy- don't get Van started.... :) TOO LATE!! :-D You're referring, of course, to the infamously frustrating YOUNG JAMIE ROSE scene, in which she was bound hand and foot, abandoned in a shack in the middle of nowhere. (Western shirt, jeans, and boots; hands behind back and ankles together; rolling and writhing on the floor.) She was rescued "hours" later by her "father" (Robert Foxworth), and uttered the classic line: "Oh daddy, I was so scared!" The end of the episode (I think) her captor met with a fatal accident... which the idiot deserved, 'cause he was too stoopid to grasp the concept of *GAG*. Geesh! |

Your mission, should you decide to accept it ("you", plural, meaning *everybody*) is to track down the series and episode in question, and find video *&* screencaps. I've *never* seen Jamie bound *&* gagged! :-} |

I'll do some checking You can always ask her at her web site although it says 'PLEASE NOTE: Jamie Rose does not return emails or phone calls for inquiries unrelated to the JRose Studio.' 'Hi Jamie, Do you teach on how to be a damsel-in-distress at your studio, like you were in that one 90's series....Er, I forget the name....Help me out...?' |

Just read this over on Ain't It Cool news. Apparently SyFy (Still hate calling it that) has picked up a show that got scrapped by ABC a couple years ago. "The ABC version featured a hot girl who could bend people to her will, a “Rain Man”-type autistic savant, an ex-FBI agent who could use adrenaline to give himself super-strength, and a woman who could destroy stuff with her voice." Seems like a sure thing with the destructive voice woman, right? In theory anyway. |

If the actress is correctly identified as Laurel Schaefer, she appeared in the show between 1986-1987 which would suggest the episode occured in series 5,6 or 7. The show is currently showing on the Zone Romantica channel in the UK but they only seem to be up to series 2, so could be a bit of a wait! |

Could it have been this scene with Jaime Rose doppelganger Jayne Heitmeyer? Title: Night Man aka NightMan Medium: TV Series Actress: Jayne Heitmeyer Description: Episode: "Revelations" (2.20) In the final 15 minutes of the episode, Detective Branca is undressing when she opens the back door and standing there is a man with a knife. Later she is wearing a sexy, purple, satin slip with her hands tied over her head (you never actually see the hands, just the black scarf when she is freed) and gagged with a red scarf. Very nice but very short (less than a minute). |

Wednesday August 05 20:35:16 2009 Rachel McAdams in Sherlock Holmes |
I've just read the screenplay for the new feature length Sherlock Holmes film and it appears that there s some strong DID potential for McAdams character. Hopefully Hollywood won't screw us over with this one. |

Wednesday August 05 21:38:50 2009 Asking the experts -book cover |
Hi all- I'm hoping some of you can help ID a book for me. One of the Yahoo groups once had a scan of a book cover with a DID. The cover showed a drawing of a woman seated, tied to a pole and OTM gagged. There was water all around her, so she presumably was left to drown as the water level rose. The book appeared to be aimed at young adults, like the Nancy Drew series (although this wasn't a Nancy Drew book). That Yahoo group is long gone (or at least I can't find it anymore) and I'm hoping somebody might know the name of the book so I can keep an eye out for it. Thanks in advance! |
