| Something of a holy grail of mine, I would be very grateful if anyone knows of a link to the following scene from Falcon's Crest: Title: Falcon Crest Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown Description: Episode: Unknown A guest actress is found sitted with her arms tied behind her, roped around her body and gagged with a thick handkerchief. The actress appears to be bound and gagged by the playing kids. She pleads to Angela (Jane Wyman) to untie her but Angela ignores her. Fairly long scene and is a very good scene. Angela's butler helps her get loose in the end while one of the kids laughs at her. DiD possibly Laurel Schaefer (?) |

Record number: 14208 Title: The Bill Medium: TV Series Actress: Clare Foster, Elose Joseph Description: Episode: Smash and Grab Parts One & Two Part One ends with the two ladies being grabbed by masked men, dragged out of the house with a hand over their mouth. Part Two opens with the two captives being bought into their captor’s hideout, each has a strip of black tape across her mouth and her wrists tied behind her with cord. They are forced to sit in two chairs that have been positioned back to back in the centre of the room and their ankles are tied together with more cord. Their gags are briefly removed and then replaced. In the morning their gags are removed again this time for good, there is a whispered exchange between the two captives as they plan their move. Foster is able to persuade one of their captors to give them a drink of bottled water which he holds up to their mouths. Later while one of their kidnappers is out of the room Foster talks to his compatriot and persuades him to untie her wrists. There is a nice close up of her tied hands as he does this. No sooner has she got to her feet though than the other kidnapper returns and demands she is tied up again. Next we get another close up of the wrists this time as a panicking Joseph struggles to free herself. The calmer Foster meanwhile continues to talk with her captors and persuades them to let the girls go. Final scene sees the two girls sat together in the back of their abductors’ van, wrists now bound in front, as the men look for somewhere to dump them. NB. Although this is not the end of the storyline it is the last time we see either girl restrained Foster is wearing a leather jacket, polo neck sweater, jeans and boots. Maureen O'Hara. Bound and gagged by Tyrone Powers in The Black Swan and by Charles Laughton in the classic Jamaica Inn. Nobody else comes close. Southbound |
