When the hero later tries to remove the tape, he discovers that the tape has been -GROSS SPOILERS- actually stapled to her face. Roth looks great in the film, and the movie is made with cleverness and skill, but THE COLLECTOR (Terrible title. It was changed at the last minute from the more original THE MIDNIGHT MAN) is really dark and nasty and strictly for fans of extreme horror. Persons looking for light-hearted, old-fashioned DID action should probably look elsewhere. |

I thought I had checked the database on her name before. The movie was in 1987, right in the prime of her hotness. Would like to see that one too. Might be available on amazon. |

Hey she was definitly gagged(otm)in this movie--i read about it on a scene description page from a guy called Fuzz a few years ago when I started to look for scenes. I never saw it though- the but he had this one. Also I read this movie never when to the big screen just straight to vhs. |

Sunday August 09 20:57:15 2009 An old commerical |
I remember someone posting a commercial with a woman bound to a chair in what appears to be a suspenseful scene but it turns out her husband tied her to there to prevent her from talking too much on the phone. Anyone know where I can find this scene again? |

Nice set of clips this week, bunch I hadn't seen previously except Heather Locklear, but never tire of her tied up. That clip from Sum of Existence with Simone Kessell is a good one. Looks like a mini DID-marathon film. The scene where she is standing on the ladder wearing a long red kimono style dress and heeled boots is a beauty. She looks wide eyed at the door as it is being opened. The scene cuts immediately to her on the floor. Anyone know is there any footage in the film of the ladder being yanked out from under her or is this all there is? Might have to track this film down and watch it all. Would like to see that complete scene including the setup and rescue. I remember discussion on this film, but this is the first clip I'd seen of it---not in DB btw. |

So Andrea Roth is gagged in this movie? Isn't it weird that there are now two completely different movies named "The Collector" that each have gagged actresses. |
