Uneccesary jabs
I don't mean to make an issue, not having read owls post... But Vince Greys sharp jab at owls interest in Meg Ryan was hard to swallow. I'd like to see that one flagged. And then mine to clear up the confusion

Ditto. Grey's post was uncalled for.

Well, I just got back here, and missed the deleted post (Maybe that's a good thing) but I am honestly confused here. How in the world is making at joke at Meg's expense (And we all know the best jokes have the ring of truth about them.) "raking you over the coals"???

Ease up my friend. It wasn't my intention to insult you in any way. Insulting the current version of Meg Ryan, well yeah, THAT I meant. If anyone seriously disputes my "female Joker" line, then I defy you to photoshop in some Joker makeup and tell me I'm way off base.

But jeez, dude, it's not like she's your wife or sister or anything, but hey, if you find her so hot, then more power to you and please accept my apology.

Offline Database
I posted earlier saying that I have created an offline database of Brian's great online scene database for those of us like me for have connection problems and cant always access the online database.

I have uploaded it here :-
http://rapidshare.com/files/276836620/BD.zip

It is microsoft access 2003 format but it seems to work with access 2000 as well. It also works with openoffice base but has to be converted first by the built in base converter.

It comes with a table and a form which has a nice appearance. It is fully searchable i.e. if you want to search for the entries with Teri Hatcher in just click on the access field and press ctrl-f and in the pop up screen type teri hatcher (make sure that the match option is not on 'whole field' but 'any part of field' other wise it wont find all the teri hatcher entries. click ok and it will go to the first entry it finds then simple press f3 to find the next etc.

Once again if Brian or anyone else has any offence in my creating an offline database then please let me know and I will take the link down and stop using it myself locally.

I reviewed the message in question, and he did nothing
of the sort. He had some unpleasant things to say about
Ms. Ryan though.

I'll remind you of the FAQs:

"1.6 A post offended me, is it OK to blast the other person? Don't they "deserve" it.
No, of course not. If the post is on-topic, then you must abide by the rules in your reply. You can request clarification of course."

If you thought Vince's post was inappropriate, you should
have posted a request for me to do something, or explain
why I wouldn't.

I'm not seeing it. He made no personal attacks against
the contributor, but against the actress. Now, in general
I think these "I think she's great; Well, I don't" threads
are of low value, but where do I draw the line?

Did you search the Scene Database for Heather Locklear's entries?

Record number: 7312

Title: T.J. Hooker
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Beth Schaffel, Heather Locklear

Description: Episode: "Carnal Express" (3.2)

Early in the episode nightclub singer Bonnie McCall (Schaffel), a friend of Stacy (Locklear) and Hooker, is kidnapped in her dressing room and taken away in a phony ambulance by a white slavery ring.

Stacy goes undercover as a dancer at the club and shortly afterwards the ringleader sets his sights on her. He ambushes Stacy outside her "cover" residence where she struggles and mmphs while being chloroformed.

She's next seen in the back of the ambulance covered with a blanket and strapped down to a stretcher with a leather strap visible just below the chest. She's not gagged because she's still incoherent from the drugging. She's untied and carried aboard a plane bound for Mexico when Hooker and friends arrive to rescue her. This all happens in the last 10-15 minutes.

GI Joe scene
Just saw G.I. Joe today, and there was a brief handgagging (with gauze) of (a blonde-haired) Sienna Miller (to include struggling and "mmphing"). She was wearing a tank top and underwear (she was asleep in her bed), and it was during a "flashback" scene with respect to how she became "The Baronness".

It was an unexpected, but pleasant surprise.

The Clay Pigeon
In case some people do not check the VCR alerts between now and tomorrow afternoon, I just posted an alert for THE CLAY PIGEON (Barbara Hale bound and gagged) on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) tomorrow (September 8) at 1:15 PM eastern time. Don't miss this classic scene! Years later, Barbara Hale played "Della Street" on "Perry Mason", but she was never bound and gagged on that show. Here is an example of what such a scene could have looked like. Her hands are tied behind her back and she is tightly cleavegagged with a thick, white cloth. There are excellent closeups. The scene is early in the movie.

Well, I will end it here and I have cooled off and accepted the apology. BTW Kenny, I have been contributor since the beginning (97'), I have earned a littler slack with my emotions.

Mr Moderator, from my viewpoint I didn't appreciate the reference that I was entitled to my opinion and then in another broad stroke insulted that my opinion is someone else's "Morbid Curiosity" justifying it with physical insults about Meg Ryan. It felt like your stupid and I am not fool, Ha Ha Ha, here's my evidence because Meg Ryan isn't pretty anymore.

Like I said I am fine with Vince having an opinion and I don't disagree with it. BTW, I would not expect his opinion to be deleted either. There's been a whole lot worst from others. But I don't expect to be raked over the coals over my opinions with back handed comments like "morbid curiosity". Just say you disagree with me and that's it.

MacGyver Alerts
I posted a couple alerts for MacGyver for tonite (Kim Zimmer's scene & one with Teri Hatcher). Just wanted to head's up, the one with Teri is on at 1 am central time (see Alerts page), which is actually late TONITE, even though it showed up as being on Sept. 8 (which I guess technically it is). But it's later tonite after midnight for us folks in Central Time.

Sons of Anarchy
By the way, when did the scene appear in the Sons of Anarchy movie last night? Anyone know?

Description: Episode: "The Revelator" (1.13)

Girl has her hands and legs taped up and she is blindfolded with carrier bag. One minute later Jax cut off the bag and we can see that she is also tape gagged. It's short scene.

Ok. I don't think it was Vince's intention to make
you feel bad personally.

What actresses one likes is a very personal thing
sometimes. There's no right or wrong answer.

It's one of the reason why I don't like these sorts
of discussions. It generally leads to problems.

Scene ID?
The scene at major john's this week is called "Fast Lane" and features a super hot brunette tape-gagged. I don't recall this from the TV series and the database does not have it. Anyone recall this scene?

Durham County later alert
Tonight at 10 pm on ION channel

Record number: 12721
Title: Durham County
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Unknown
Description: Episode: "What Lies Beneath" (1.1)

A somewhat intense scene and not for those who insist on happy endings. During the first few minutes of the episode we see from a voyeurs point of view a man having a picnic with two girls in school uniforms. He produces plastic ties for what's supposed to be a consensual bondage scene and the show shifts scens. When we cut back to the voyeurs POV both girls have their hands tied behind their back but things have spun out of control with one girl on the ground and presumably dead while the second has a bleeding face and is knocked down by the killer. She spots the voyeur and begs for help but he does nothing as the killer grabs a large rock and finishes her off (the camera cuts away before the death scene). The killer returns to dispose of the still bound corpses near the halfway point of the episode.

Re: Scene ID?
It's actually a movie with the same name, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the TV show of the same name.

Young and Restless
On today's Canadian episode of Y&R (airs tomorrow in the U.S.) cutie Tammin Sursok ("Colleen") has her wrists tied behind her back with thin rope by "Patty/Mary Jane". No gag yet, scene is ongoing.

Not really. I've never been much for personal insults, even when blatantly attacked myself, and while I think Nite Owl overreacted a bit, I sincerely meant the apology. What really surprised me were the other 2-3 posts supporting his position (That I insulted him).

Also, my intention was never to get into a "she's hot, she's not" debate, because, as our beloved moderator said, that's decidedly counter-productive, and an effort in utter futility. I mean, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

My whole point was to make a JOKE, aimed directly at Meg, and Meg only. Period.

Also, the truth shall set you free: What I said about the lady is indisputable on any meaningful level. She IS a skinny, bony little thing, and she HAS had a pretty severe facial change via plastic surgery. I mean, if you look at her mouth structure as a young actress versus now, the difference is startling.

Looking back, I suppose my error was in the way I phrased my post, which I guess on some level could be taken as a dig against Nite Owl, though that was never my intention.
