Wow, after Lois on Smallville and now this, I have to say I never would have expected either one, especially Desperate Witches which looked like a non gag show to me. The fall season is heating up. |

It airs Wednesday at 9pm Central time on ABC. Well, going by the promo, not the tightest tape gag I've ever seen, but judged against the weakass "barely-stuck-on-if-she-moves-her-head-it'll-fall-off" crap we usually get, not too bad at all. Now if we can get Rebecca Romijn to come through with a tight cleave, this show might have Melrose Place-like potential. |

I was disappointed that they didn't get their feet tied. I think I may be done collecting. I have been collecting scenes since 1983. I bought my first VCR in 1983. I have bought hundreds of movies and DVDs that had scenes I like. I'm tired of chasing scenes and getting disappointed with the scenes I catch. I like it when the woman gets her hands AND her feet tied. This type of scene is very rare these days. |

When she was led in I was hoping that she had her hands tied behind as well, but they never seem to do that for these 'let me blindfold you and surprise you' scenes. |

Dextor wrote: >nice close up of Lindsay Price's distressed, > tape-gagged face. Thanks for the information Dextor. Anyone who wants to record it I would advise to do so because the Nielsen Ratings on Eastwick have been sliding downward every week. Eastwick has now fallen behind the Jay Leno show and that's pretty bad. Finishing last behind Leno is not a good sign at all. |

Also nice that they almost kissed. That would probably be a first for a DiD scene. |

Tuesday October 27 16:27:11 2009 Darkness falls... |
Hello Brians Pagers, long time listener, first time caller. Yes, I did check the database before I asked this, but anyone know of any scenes where the baddie turns out the light in the room where the DID is being held, leaving her in a predicament AND in totally in the dark? Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. "Ulee's Gold" featured all three damsels in almost complete darkness. In "A Deadly Vision", the villain turned off the lights, yet it was possible to see Kristin Davis in a weak blue light. That's all I can remember. |

It takes a thief, 'Nice Girls Marry Stockbrokers' the villain locks them in a freezer and the light goes off, although fortunately some kind of dark light goes on, accentuating the damsel's tight shirt. |

Tuesday October 27 17:21:24 2009 Heartbeat |
In June someone posted this picture and the episode that contained the scene happen and everyone forgot it. It is possible to get the episode by bitornet. It may be this episode "Ties That Bind" that is about robberies OR "A Whiter Shade of Pale" which was the episode after the promo that showed her gagged. Another intersting episode is "Pass The Parcel" with a woman named Dawn taken hostage |

In "A Deadly Vision", > the villain turned off the lights, yet it was possible > to see Kristin Davis in a weak blue light. The reason for the three bound and gagged damsels in "Ulee's Gold" being left in complete darkness is that the scene shifted from their captivity to the lead character's leading the villains to a cache of stolen money. There was no need for any lighting, because the three bound and gagged actresses were no longer being shown. When they were discovered by a neighbor, she had to turn on the lights so they would be visible. Jessica Biel was seen on the floor, still bound and gagged in a chair; her struggling had been particularly energetic. In "A Deadly Vision", Kristin Davis was shown bound and gagged in crepuscular lighting, because she and her circumstances were very germane to the plot. She was being held as bait by the villain; he would attack and kill her boyfriend when her discovered her bound and gagged. In the "Heroes" episode of the defunct show "Las Vegas", Vanessa Marcil is bound and gagged in a trunk; the light inside is crepuscular, but not completely dark, since she must be seen bound and gagged. The plot gravitates around her being bound and gagged inside a trunk, so she must be visible. |
