This is the title of a memoir by a woman whose daughter suffered from anorexia and bulimia. The cover has a picture of a young woman with two Band-Aids stuck in a criss-cross pattern over her mouth. There is also an incident mentioned in the book where the daughter has to be handcuffed. |

I would definitely agree. Two gorgeous actresses, that didn't get enough damsel in distress scenes, being tied up,and gagged.I would have loved to have seen Kristen bound, and gagged a lot more,in this show.:( |

And of course they take it to really high extremes. More so then such female empowerment based shows as Buffy, Charmed and Alias did. And the annoying thing it that its not a female empowerment based show, its suppose to be about Superman. But the producers and female actors have been non-stop with the female empowerment none the less. |

I think it has more to with Smallville being a poor show, that has ruined plenty of characters with over 40 years of character development. It has poor writing generally, and this is refelcted in the poor bondage scenes (ie, hands in front, or 'scream all you want, no one will here you' ...(well he's Superman, duh) crap we suffer from). |

How about just once? It never happened, did it? She never was bound and gagged on the show, was she? |

Why couldn't the writers and producers of the show emulate their counterparts from Lifetime and the Lifetime Movie Network(aka the Bondage Channel) and empower females while still having them bound and gagged? The female characters from movies and shows that aired on these two networks were no less empowered because they were bound and gagged. |

Monday October 05 16:12:43 2009 'Good Chemistry' |
Anyone see it. Brooke Anderson is tapegagged, according to her web site (Go To 'Gallery' then 'Roles' - may have to refresh the page to get B&G photo) |

It's more or less a sign of the times. Bondage in comic books is still occurs often, but most of the more "iconic" females like Lois Lane, Wonder Woman, and such ver rarely end up in bondage anymore. Wondy hasn't been bound and gagged in years, and I think the last time Lois got a gag was more than two years ago, and that wasn't even in a Superman book. |

The poster shows what appears to be a putz tied to a chair, and the plot synopsis mentions both the putz and a scene about a character called "Annette" being kidnapped: "When Toby proves unwilling, Jeff with the help of a local thug named Judge Bass, kidnaps Annette, Toby's ex-wife. The criminals hold her as security, threatening to frame Toby for her murder should he escape." However, Annette is not played by Brooke Anderson. Also, Anderson's hands appear to be bound in front in the website's picture, which may put off some of us. Seems like an promising (in terms of bondage) movie, though. Thank you for pointing it out. |

cicisaur wrote: > > Is this the most disappointing show in the history > of > > television?? > YES!!!!!!! Lois lane is the comic carachter most gagged in the history. She was gagged in the comics, in the cartoons (the Fleischer series, the '60 series, the '90 series and "Superman-Batman the movie") in the movie serial, in the TV series (Adventures of Superman, Lois & Clark) Smalville doesn't maintain the presuppositions of the series that have preceded it. |

Link? Loved the cute blond tape gagged and Ms. Briw Bandana-gagged. It was even cooler to see her gagged two diff ways within 10 mins. |

As I said earlier, it's reflective of the more modern situatation with Lois. Within the last decade she's been gagged maybe five or six times, as opposed to the old days where she was tied every issue. It's not really surprising that Smallville doesn't have her get bound. |

You all probably know about the new movie by Darren Aronofsky. It's about a ballet dancer (Natalie Portman), who's stalked by a rival dancer (Mila Kunis). Has anybody read the script; and if so, are there any b&g scenes? |
