What bugs me is when the captor tears the piece off and then talks for five minutes while the glue on the tape is being exposed to the air, or when he removes tape from her mouth that's been on for hours, leaves it stuck somewhere while she eats or does potty, and then he sticks the SAME piece back on. Geeze, is the stuff so expensive that he can't rip off a fresh piece?!?!? |

Geeze, is the stuff so > expensive that he can't rip off a fresh piece?!?!? This perplexes and vexes me as well. Why can't the captor apply a fresh strip of duct tape over the damsel's mouth? The old strip must've lost some of its adhesive property. Is it so difficult to tear off a new strip of duct tape from a roll that he should keep handy? |

Title: Prey Medium: TV Series Actress: Debra Messing Description: Episode: "Transformations" (1.7) Same deal here - voluminous opportunities to tame a vexatious vixen yet nothing ! It's fulminously frustrating. |

The only time I've ever seen a plot hinge on this is in "Night Stalker", where hero Carl Kolckak finds a damesl imprisoned by a vampire, tied to a bed and gagged with tape. He removes the gag, but before he can release the captive, the vampire returns. Kolchak replaces the gag, telling the lady to keep still because the gag won't stick. In the event, she moves her head and the tape falls off, precipitating a fight between Kolchak and vampire. |

Something to keep an eye on as November 'sweeeps' approaches: on OLTL, 'Jessica' (Bree Williamson) is being harrased by a stalker. |

I think it's pretty likely that Jessica (Bree Williamson) and Natalie (Melissa Archer) are going to be kidnapped during November sweeps. Spoilers for sweeps say: "Jessica starts to get some phone calls that appear to be from Nash (her dead husband). She knows it's impossible, yet she's positive that it was his voice that she was hearing, so you have Jessica and Natalie being manipulated and lured somewhere, and you've got Brody and John trying to get to the bottom of what's really going on." |

Tuesday October 20 16:04:39 2009 Eastwick possibilty |
Something else to keep an eye on. The press release for the Nov. 4 episode of Eastwick says: "Hounded by Max (Jason George), her replacement at the Gazette, about her kidnapping ordeal, Joanna (Lindsay Price) grapples with her own lingering questions while dodging his." So apparently, Lindsay Price's character is going to be kidnapped in the Oct 28 episode. Hopefully we'll get some inkling into the kidnapping in the promo at the end of this week's episode. |

Tuesday October 20 22:11:21 2009 Need Help With Irish Lass |
I recently came across an Irish scene where a woman is visiting a friend and finds she has a cute young woman bound and gagged in her closet. Anyone know what film or TV show it is? Scene is at vid page. |
