Re: Midnight in the Switchgrass
Had a feeling this would be a dud; the trailer sort of hinted that it would be. That's a Gloriously Golden Missed Opportunity. Roll on Dune I guess. Doesn't seem to be much else on the horizon. But it's always those surprise movie/TV scenes that come out of nowhere that get you. Hopefully something really great will materialise asap.

As Bart Simpson would say, "that not only sucks but blows". Nice looking tapegag for the millisecond you see it. And Sistine gets nothing?!? This schlock makes Big Sky look like High Art. Meh :(.

Mare Of Easttown Blinkie
Reading the latest D-B entries reminded me of the brief self-bondage scene in this series mentioned in Discussion while back. Maybe there'll be an extended scene released at some point(probably wishful thinking). Does anyone have a screenshot or a gif of the damsel gagging herself. Does sound rather enticing...

I'm generally not a fan of tape gags, except for the semi-transparent kind, where you get to see the lips and any packing that might be there.
So, I know there are plenty out there who like the grey/silver duct tape, but as a survey what is your preference, if any

I just like a mixture. Wish we'd get some white tape or the transluscent tape. It seemed the transluscent tape was hotter in the 1990s, but from US scenes has completely faded away.

Alyssa Milano and Dangerous Curves would be two of my top picks.

There is a European version of that episode where the scene is even longer. Michele's character clearly hates being gagged and struggles and struggles to get it off... she finally succeeds, spits out her packing and lets out a gasp of relief, then a goon walks in and she says "You gotta be kidding me!" and re-gags her. The mix of anger and humiliation on her face is incredible. I liked the scene when it first aired but the longer version goes straight to the Top Ten.

Yeah, when that extra scene turned up on the Internet, it was like a gift from the heavens.

Couple other small items from that scene. When Michele coughs up her packing the cotton sticks to the tape gag as it hangs from her cheek, almost impossible odds. Then she says her "oh, man I don't believe it" and when the thug rips the gag of her cheek to place a fresh piece of tape she gasps "alllllll righhttttttttt." At the same time, Cutter is mmmffffing at the thug trying to get his attention. Michele then caps this by exhaling right as the guy is stuffing her mouth. Then the guy touches her gagged mouth to finish it.

When I watched the original without the extra scene, I thought I saw packing in Michele's mouth when she started to peel her gag off, but they cut away before she could spit anything out. Also, on the original gagging of Michele when Cutter is on the phone, they didn't stuff anything in her mouth, they just taped it. But then she had stuffing in the next scene.

I still remember the day I got in the mail my copies of the Bound For Hollywood columns. This was pre-internet. What a great day for my mental health. I found out I was not the only one who enjoyed this. I went through most of my adolescence believing I was a weirdo for enjoying seeing women in distress on TV. I so remember the nervous excitement building up when one of my favorite damsels started snooping where she shouldn't or one of the bad guys started making plans to catch her in a trap. Ahh. The Good Old Days!!

What a fantastic ungagging shot; proper lip/cheek-pulling action, the way a sticky tape gag should be.

They hardly ever put in effort like that to make it look convincing these days; most of the time they don't even bother to hide the "lip protection" on-camera.

One recent exception was Bite Club S01E08, where Marny Kennedy gets a slooowwwww (and I mean painstakingly SLOW) ungagging of an extremely sticky tape gag. Fair do's to them for not taking any shortcuts there.........

Headscarfed and gagged
Anyone know of films or TV shows where the damsel is gagged while wearing a headscarf?
