Also curated under Walter Presents > label. Any idea on which of these series'would have some solid B&D action? When I searched for Mystery shows on my Cable network I was shocked at the # of Mysteries from all over the world. I assume many have looked at this and as big as our network is they are probably documented. Is that true or could this be some kind of untapped gold mine? |
Thursday July 15 05:48:20 2021 The Old Days |
This site has been simply awesome. All the resources here and information provided. We can be alerted to upcoming scenes and scenes from every country in the world, virtually. Without this site, I would have missed thousands of scenes. However, I was just reminiscing about the old days, where we had to wait and see with our own eyes and hope to find scenes that occurred. I know many of you, like me, would go to your local video stores and roam up and down the aisles looking at covers and back of boxes hoping to see evidence of a scene. Or reading a movie synopsis where we would think it could be a possibility. It would seem like such a success if it paid off and the movie did contain a bound and gagged woman. I used to get a nervous pit in my stomach, when I was watching a tv show and a woman would either get grabbed or caught snooping just before the commercial break. It really got my heart racing in anticipation. For me, those commercial breaks seemed to take forever. I guess I have I was just wondering about the rest of us. When was the last time that a scene gave you a nervous pit deep in your stomach or got your heart racing? Do they still? (I apologize for rambling on and on. I just wanted to see where you guys stood at.) |

I certainly felt this way in November, 2019 when an absolute Hungarian cutie-pie was kidnapped, and zip-tied in a popular long-running Hungarian show, but she was never gagged in the scene which left a painful feeling in me. Hope she gets the FT in another show. |

There is always hope. For the longest time, most people, including myself, never thought Sarah Michelle Gellar would get gagged. Now, she has 2 full scenes. Here's hoping for your Hungarian gal to get the gag. |

Thursday July 15 09:12:39 2021 Nicolette Langley: Party From Hell/ Perfect Party Planner |
So there’s a new lifetime movie coming out sometime in the near future called Party From Hell/Perfect Party Planner where hottie Nicolette Langley gets a full treatment scene. She is seen sporting a thick white cleave gag in a production still as well as briefly in the trailer. She also gets a hand gag in the trailer but the bonds are never shown. https://imgur.com/a/kBFZtVG This one isn’t from the usual suspects of MarVista Entertainment or ReelOne, but instead by Mutiny films. They’ve had movies on lifetime before so that’s where I’m expecting this one to air but currently there’s no release date. |

I also come from the days when "TV Guide" was a major go-to resource, and each issue would be scanned for words like "kidnap," "danger," "disappears," etc. Then came some more specialized things like "Bound for Hollywood" (I think it was called) and one or two others I've forgotten, and finally this innerweb thingy. I wasn't really nervous, but I was always excited and optimistic when a new episode of "The Lost World" would air. Jennifer O'Dell tied up so nicely. I just couldn't get enough of her. I think there were a couple of "Batman" shows where the first part ended with Yvonne Craig being captured; I was very anxious for the following show to air. |

"Bound for Hollywood" was a column that appeared in a magazine called Bondage Life, which I believe was published quarterly. In the days before the Internet became accessible to the public, it was an invaluable resource. Not only did it mention the movies and television shows that would feature actresses in bondage, but also advertisements in periodicals. |

It provided screenshots and descriptions for Confirmed scenes. So if you were lucky, if you missed a primetime TV series scene you MIGHT catch it if the issue came out before the rerun aired. |

On occasional afternoon soap scene would be an exception. When Kassie DePaiva finally got a tape-gag on OLTL in the trunk of the car, that would qualify, especially when psycho Margaret is about to close the trunk on a tied but not gagged Blair. She then mouths off, so Margaret reaches into her purse and says "just for that, I'm going to give you can extra handicap to deal with" as she rips a piece of tape and gags her. My favorite "heart racing" scene would be "Dangerous Curves." Watching that one live on CBS, I so wanted to see Michael Michele get a gag, and then when the setup hit and they both were kidnapped as the show went to commerical. That one was great. As the scene restarts, we get Lise Cutter on the phone with Michele in the background, then gets gagged on screen. Then, the next scene starts with the two leads tied boots and "mmmmfffing" as the camera pans up. Just great. |

Hasn't happened in a long time. I'd say it stopped a year or two after I got my first VCR in 1982. Sometimes it seems like it would be nice to have that sensation again, but I also remember having to sit through some incredibly bad shows and endless commercials just to get to the good parts. I wouldn't want to have to go back to doing that. |

Thursday July 15 14:11:17 2021 The Essence of Brian's Page |
Just for kicks I was trying to think of a scene or a picture of the one damsel that would capture the essence of this great forum. So at the risk of upsetting The Engineer, I think that Lynda Carter in Wonderwoman "The Starships Are Coming" episode captures exactly what this Forum is all about. Damsel in Distress effectively tied up and gagged on screen on a very perilous situation but with a happy ending. If you disagree feel free to tell us who do you think best capture the Essence of Brian's Page. |

I would nominate the head shot of Tina Louise gagged by Eva Grubb (Gilligan's Island - “All About Eva” (3.14)). It is the most infamous gag scene of them all precisely because we've all discussed it. And this is a discussion page. |

Yeah and I’m not crazy about how high the gag is tied but maybe it’ll magically adjust itself during the scene. She has a few other lifetime movies in the works so hopefully we’ll see more than this in the near future. |

Thursday July 15 21:49:18 2021 Re: The Old Days |
All those endless syndicated action shows in the '90s, the Golden Age of Trash TV, ruled by the spawn of Baywatch and Xena. Taping them all on good ol' VHS, then dubbing any scenes on to compilation tapes, then dubbing and trading those with cool fellow damsel fans- first with people meet on the old Alt/Sex/Bondage board, and then guys from the early days of this very forum. No easy way to transmit big video files online then, just VHS tapes sent via USPS Priority Mail. Good times. |

> Yeah, TV Guide was a good one for that. I recall reading an interview with Jamie Lunar in TV guide when the series finale of Melrose Place first aired, and it had a picture of that scene with her in the bathtub. I knew I needed to tape it, but in 1999 I was 14 and lived with my parents, so I remember praying that they would't be watching TV at the time, carefully programming the VCR and the entire time it was recording I was on edge. Then later when I reviewed the tape and saw the scene, that was when I had the feeling in the pit of my stomach. |

Thursday July 15 22:05:13 2021 Midnight in the Switchgrass - Megan Fox |
Sorry to disappoint folks, but Megan Fox's scene in Midnight in the Switchgrass was mostly a dud. She is knocked out and kidnapped towards the end of the movie, wakes up in a van bound but not gagged, and frustratingly her captor doesn't gag her then. Next time we see her, an hour and 4 mins in she is blindfolded and tape gagged. We get a distant shot of her removing the blindfold, and a quick closeup of her gagged face before she removes the tape. I did not see a gag for the other damsel either, but I just skimmed through as I was mostly interested in Megan's scene. Movie is available on primewire. https://i.imgur.com/uvA3vdN.png |

Welp. Megan Fox's scene couldn't deliver on the hype. We ended up only getting two shots of the tape gag before she removes it. What a letdown. |

I guess we shouldn't ask why the bad guy blindfolds her after moving her from the van unless he was masked during the first part. But after seeing the silly hands in front I'm guessing they were not interested in little details. |
