| I'm trying to remember the name of an American movie, direct to video most likely, where some commandos are infiltrating a compound and they find a woman tied to a chair. They free her and take her with them. Later she goes with them on some other mission and ends up betraying them. Does this ring a bell for anyone? It's fairly recent. |

| At the start of the last episode (Ep 8-The Upside Down), Ryder has her hands cuffed behind a metal slat-back chair. She's just been caught sneaking into a secret military base along with the police chief. She's left alone in an interrogation room and from the angle of the camera shots, you can tell she's really cuffed to that chair. Even better, being the great method actor she is, she's tugging on her cuffs, testing to see how tight they are. Moments later, Matthew Modine (playing the evil head scientist) enters and questions her, all the while with her hands still cuffed behind her. (Meanwhile, in another room, the police chief is being tasered and questioned but his hands aren't cuffed!) One more scene around the 7 min mark where the chief, having made a deal, walks into her room, along with Modine and some government agents who uncuff her. Terrific scene and a terrific series altogether. Currently streaming on Netflix. Highly recommend everyone check it out! LS |
