| So I won't spoil it too much for at least a few hours, mostly because I'm lazy, but Pro: It's not just about the half-dozen self-handgags that we were promised. It delivers the claustrophobia thing, a mad wraparound tape gag, various straps and handcuffs, a wicked suspended ball tie, and a turkey baster. Con: The above are not all in the same scene. Raffish sez: Bondage grade B-. Thriller grade A-. See it opening weekend before some asshole completely tells you what happens. |

| So it looks like they are finally releasing that shot-by-shot remake of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” made by a bunch of teenagers back in the ’80s. Has anyone seen it? Is there a scene it in? Does it live up to the original? |

I read that they are unable to release it because of legal restrictions, but some parts are shown in the documentary "Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made", and it looks like they are screening the adaptation in some places during their tour (link below). Now there's a documentary "film about the remaking of the film" in the works. The video looks like the eighties-era Betamax that it was, and the sound is pretty lousy, but that's hardly the point: on a budget of $5,000, the production values are otherwise worthy of applause. The famous truck-chase sequence alone is meticulously and ingeniously reconstructed. To get more on topic, the adaptation gives us a young Ms. Rodriguez in her only credited role, taking over for Karen Allen in the role of Marian. She gives a solid performance. The cleave-gag scene in the tent, as well as the back-to-back tie with Indy in the climactic scene, are present and accounted for. Rodriguez, er, develops over the course of the seven-year shoot, and it must be said that she looks pretty good in those dresses. |

| All I have are descriptions, hopefully some of yous have good recall. 1st two teens, a boy and a girl are being held. The best thing about this scene is that the very pretty girl is gagged and not the little dude. I believe she is even carried over the shoulder and there is a wagon near them 2nd is another with a teen girl. She is being held, tied to some trap. The abductress only shows her legs during the ransom video. The girl is wearing a short dress, white tights. 3rd and last...very vague. A hottie has been taken held in bad guy hideout. Another group of badguys do a raid and kidnap her from her kidnappers and they have her gagged I believe as they are taking her Thank yous in advance! |

| So that remake is called Iris. The movie is coming out in November in France and we should be able to see a trailer next month. I've been able to find some images on twitter and instagram. |
