Episode "There'No Place Like Home" had gal restrained chair. Can't remember her being gagged though.

I believe the show airs on Sunday in Canada. That episode should air this Thursday on the CW.

The Nancy Drew Files: Stage Fright
Can someone here transcribe the scene in it where Nancy is B&G and even blindfolded with tape? Tried finding excerpts online to no avail and a transcript would be great if it can be done, thanks.

Laughing stock
Are there any scenes where the damsel is laughed at by her rescuers for being bound and gagged? I suppose the majority would come from comedy films and sitcoms. Thanks in advance.

"After a couple of minutes, her head began to clear and she realized her kidnapper had made a major mistake. Her hands were tied together in front, rather than behind her."

Le sigh.

Not much of a scene, but hey.

The chloro depiction was pretty good, IIRC, where Nancy tries to fight back but then "she was falling...falling..."

The 80's books were better than the classic Nancy Drew stories

I have all the books.
Even the comics. LOL

The trinity was first B/g'd together in The Hidden Window Mystery and stashed in a hayloft. Freakin' Nancy, cuts herself free with a handy scythe.

All three wouldn't be chewing on cotton together again until the early 80's with The Winged Lion.

Next came The Case of Disappearing Jewels, where all three with another lady would be bound and tape gagged, once again Nancy and magic knots got herself free.

Then the three would be treated to stuff gags and straight back chairs for The Fortune-Teller's Secret. A broken magic ball + Nancy equals another escape before they are spider-bit.

We wouldn't see the gals tied up together until 2001, with Lost in The Everglades. I don't have to say Nancy didn't sit still to be eaten by a cougar or something.

Finally, the last time all three girls were bound and gagged together was in Danger on The Great Lakes. A mother and daughter duo of jewel thieves, bind and tape gag the girls. But this is the weird part. Nancy never once attempts to free herself. Up until then Bess was always the passive one who just sat there waiting to be rescued. Yup, a door was broken down and three guys freed them. I saw the girls rescue a b/g'd Nancy in The Twin Dilemma, but she always escaped her bonds after that.

There have been books where Nancy, Bess and pretty guest star have been B/g'd.
The Case of the Creative Crime- tied up and gagged with bandannas. The girls untie their gags to tie up the villainess after.
In 2008's Ghost Stories reboot, Nancy, Bess and Deirdre get bound and gagged at a carnival and kidnapped in a RV.
Great stuff!

If anyone has anymore questions, let me know. I also have a library of Bound and gagged women as well as movies.

I might start giving heads up on some of the more extended b/g'd ones.

I read a women's western where the heroine kept reaching up to ungag herself with her hands tied in front and the guy having to regag her constantly. It got really amusing. What plays stupid onscreen, works well on page.

Nancy Drew fans should check out the sleuths in the Kiki Strike books. They always wind up tied up and gagged, even the bad girls.

Best struggling scene
In all your folks' opinion, what are the scenes were the damsel does the best (quality and quantity) struggling, especially when trying to reach something (e.g. a phone, a knife to cut her bonds, the on/off switch to a trap)

Samantha Eggar in The Collector immediately springs to mind, specifically the bathroom scene where she's trying to turn the tap on to alert a neighbour to her captivity

My personal favourite will always be It Takes A Thief with Amy Thomson writhing on the floor in a harem costume.

Yet, no one is bound and gagged in it. Just threatened to be tied up twice. Heck they watch a movie on tv and the three girls never try to overpower the baddies once. My theory is that they wanted to be tied up, gagged and locked in the bathroom. I've thought about this for over a decade. lol

Natalie's Lose Lose
Right off, a woman (Danielle Adams) wakes up bound and gagged to a chair. She's a real cutie, her wrists are tied with lots of clothesline to the arms as well as her booted ankles to the legs. She's thickly cleave gagged with a towel. Lots of moaning, screaming, gag talk and struggling until she's finally ungagged after five and a half minutes. But, it's pure heaven for a video capper (despite somewhat muted colors), you get every angle of her. It cuts to wrists, back of head, ankles, full shots. The sound design is also great as she struggles in the hard chair. You hear the chair creaking, the ropes stretching in between her stifled cries. I love how she wakes up and starts to choke on the gag a little before going bananas. She stays tied to the chair for the whole movie as a gas masked killer taunts her. Another damsel joins her later on (Natalie Victoria), but we don't see her bonds.

I can't say how awesome this movie is for us and you can actually watch it like (Renumbra, Haunter, Crawl or Plastic) and not turn your nose up to the plot. Lots of struggling in those too.

I don't know about real life (I'm sure there were), but there have been a few scenes. Only one I can remember off hand was the climatic scene in the Steve McQueen film where he plays a bounty hunter, "Bullet"?

Susan Saint James in McMillan and Wife's Man Without a Face. She gets on-screen cleave gagged with a white cloth and is next seen tied to a chair, gag in place.

She squats down, still tied to the chair, hops over to the phone, plays with trying to pick up a pencil in her still-gagged mouth, dials the 0 for Operator with the pencil and then tries to carry on a conversation of why she needs the number dialed instead of calling information. She gets frustrated and screams through the gag that if she could dial it, she would.

Finally, Mildred the housekeeper walks in and Sally McMillan lets out an exasperated yell of "Mildred". Mildred unties her and ends the scene.

I like the scene because it's a gorgeous woman with a white cleave gag in her prime and it shows that, even though it's impossible to completely silence someone with the gag, it does make communicating with it on very difficult.

Quite a few of the villains in Nancy Drew books doing the tying were female, like the one in Mystery of The Masked Rider who B&G Bess and another girl with elastic tape
