I mean the mouth can still have its full range of movement beneath an otm. Not the better situation for the damsel however. |

There was also that Days Of Our Lives ep with Kristian Alfonso is tied to a chair that she tips over in an attempt to grab some broken glass and free herself. She's gagged when she tips over, yet she has no gag when there's a closeup of her concentrating face as she cuts the ropes around her wrists...and then the first thing she does when her hands are free is reach up and pull the gag out of her mouth! |

Well, I guess if you're memory is faltering like mine you could go to the scene database, in the description box type in "(1.1)" and abracadabra 99 hits. |

This is true; most gags that are tied around a damsel's mouth inevitably work their way between her teeth. If the gag is tied with sufficient tightness, however, then it should remain over her mouth; her lips should have a very limited range of motion. |

Saturday February 20 09:03:20 2010 Re: Bondage Bloopers |
How about scenes where it is played for laughs and it is deliberately shown that the DID isn't really tied ? For example, the scene in Sledge Hammer where the boxer's [I think] girlfriend is shown mightly struggling against her bonds. She suddenly pulls her arm out, wipes her brow, puts her arm back behind her, and gets back to struggling. |

I think that's actually from the show Police Squad, which the Naked Gun movies were based on. |

If you haven't checked this site out lately give it a look. They've updated it greatly, particularly the Familiar Faces segment which now id's them and makes it easier for you to locate them. |

Well done CC I stand corrected !!!!!!!! Does explain why I couldn't find that scene listed in the data base :-) |

Another exceptionally badly edited scene was Kathryn Erbe's on CI in which she worked her blindfold down to her neck and then it magically appeared as a cleave gag! |

Saturday February 20 14:42:58 2010 Rizzoli & Isles on TNT |
Every now and then I check the imdb pages of the actresses on my shortlist for new projects, and guess what... ANGIE HARMON is getting *another* cop show! This time it'll be on TNT and the title is "Rizzoli & Isles". Angie will play a Boston police detective named Jane Rizzoli, and SASHA ALEXANDER will play her BFF Maura Isles, a medical examiner. Together they... wait for it... solve crimes. TNT has bought ten episodes, and it will premiere in "2010". It's based on the crime/mystery novels of TESS GERRITSEN. Have any of you Brian'kteers read her stuff? I don't suppose Rizzoli &/or Isles get "the full ttreatment" on a recurring basis, do they? Anyhoo... one more TV series to keep an eye on, whenever it *does* appear. |

Saturday February 20 16:29:01 2010 Smallville next week |
Preview for next week's Smallville showed some woman, Lois I believe, with her hands chained/cuffed in front to a desk or table. I don't watch the show all that often anymore - my interest to a large extent left along with Kristin Kreuk - so I can't say for certain whether it's a new ep or a repeat. |

I've read 3 or 4 of them (rather, listened to the audiobooks). Rizzoli in her past was the captive of a serial killer for a time, if I'm remembering correctly (this was a while back) she was nailed spreadeagle to a basement floor or somesuch, and flashes back to that at times. Only in one book that I read did she get the treatment, she was b&g with tape and driven in a car trunk to some place to be offed, but of course she escaped and turned the tables on her captors. Rob Rob, Thanks for the info. I don't expect "Rizzoli & Isles" to be a non-stop DiDfest, but at least it's on TNT. There's a good chance we'll see *something* at some point. Let's just hope the director(s) know enough NOT to take the quick-and-easy "loosie" path. ;-) |

They're not DiDfests, but the main characters are written with a knack for finding trouble. :-) One more thing on R&I, Angie seems to be a good fit to play Rizzoli. |

I used google books to read a chapter of a Plum novel that had Steph and her sister tied up and tape gagged in the back of a van. EXCELLENT. |
