We are having nasty weather here and after the gag was removed and Beckett was lifted upright on the table, the weather forcast broke in for a few minutes and when it came back Castle was looking at her in a computer monitor (gag in place) and when we see Beckett again the table is horizontal again and the gag is back on. Did I miss the actual re-gagging? |

(unsigned poster) wrote: > Did I miss the actual re-gagging? I also missed that, since I bailed on the episode after the gag was taken out. Not a fan of stretcher scenes either, but at least it was better than her first scene. Maybe they'll keep gagging her down the road a few times. The wasted shot was when Becket caught the blonde in the woods and ziptied her hands. He should have found something to gag her before tossing her into the trunk. |

The closeups were nice..but wish we got more shots of her while she was up. The best part of the scene though in my opinion was right before the bad lady was gonna use the knife on her and she grabbed her arm...the facial expression on her face was super sexy, she bit down on the gag a little more and her eyes just looked awesome. ANybody else think so? |

Would have been nice if Beckett had done a B&G switcheroo at the end like in the 'Stay Tuned' episode of the Avengers |

That scene was friggin hot! Stana is a gorgeous damsel. 9/10 scene for me. |

Tuesday February 17 11:44:12 2015 DiD-Beckett |
Within the limits of network television, I couldn't be more pleased. FYI, someone at the Stana Katic Central web site put in a late night. A complete album of HD screencaps is posted, and since it's a Stana-centric site and Beckett spent most of the episode strapped to the table in Evil Doctor Nieman's sinister hi-tech lair, the overwhelming majority are DiDcaps! Here's the URL: http://stana-katic.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=821 A few things: (1) The first time we see Beckett, her waking-bound-&-gagged scene just after the fake-Beckett bites it, there's a close-up of her tugging on the tight, wide, nylon webbing straps imprisoning her wrists, and another of her bare feet with a similar webbing strap pinning her ankles to the table. (2) When Beckett was abducted she was wearing black, high-heel knee-boots, black or navy-blue slacks, a white turtleneck sweater, and a navy-blue blazer. (I went back and checked.) (3) Therefore, the Evil Doctor Neiman stripped her and dressed her in a long pajama bottom (which looks like fleece to me) and a white cotton t-shirt. (4) We all owe heartfelt thanks to Ron Bowman (the director), Stana, and Annie Wersching for doing the DiD-scenario RIGHT, and the same goes to the set dressers. That was one CREEPY operating room, with no expenses spared and full attention to detail. (5) Stana had to have spent a LOT of time strapped to that table during production. One can see why a simple black cleave-gag of slightly stretchy fabric is such a good choice for TV. While the camera or lighting setups are changed, the crew can pop it in and out of the talent's mouth without causing continuity problems. (6) And finally, NO WHINING about the position or how you don't like cleave-gags or the lack of whatever it is that floats your particular boat. This was (IMHO) as good as it gets on network TV. Good drama. Good attention to detail. GREAT gloating scene. Beautiful, heroic damsel. I call it a 10. |

Victoria Justice scene guaranteed to happen next Monday. They been showing previews for weeks hinting its next week but nothing every week is starting to get annoying how much you wanna bet it not next week either |

> Would have been nice if Beckett had done a B&G > switcheroo at the end like in the 'Stay Tuned' episode of > the Avengers ~~~~ I was also thinking along the same lines, although the closer fit of Diana Rigg in The Avengers (Gravediggers), where the b&g'd nurse frees herself and blows Emma Peel's cover as an operating room nurse. |

I swear they do it to attract viewers to their abysmal shitfest. I was flipping back and forth between Better Call Saul and I still couldn't take it. |

It's the only thing that is positive about this awful show. I have no idea what they are trying to do in these middle episodes. The first 3 shows are about the stalker, and they then go off with different cases and ignore the main storyline. It reminds me of classic soap opera filler shows when we're waiting for a scene that has been advanced. Good news, only 4 episodes left, and I'm still hoping the black roommate gets the gag as well. |

We're quite lucky that with the soundproof room there wasn't the old "Scream all you want, nobody can hear you" scenario |

She has one arm and her legs tied down, and the doctor lady has a bag full of sharp objects... is this what suspension of disbelief feels like? |

I assume that the instant after the camera cut away, Beckett pulled Neiman forward and did a little cutting of her own. Then, while Dr. Bitch was busy bleeding out, Kate freed herself the rest of the way. Suspension of disbelief is Kate getting her left hand free from the restraint. Using her nails to tease apart the stitching? Unlikely, but I'll give it a pass. Who wants to lose Kate Beckett? ;-) |

This was (IMHO) as good as > it gets on network TV. Brians Page is a diverse community consisting of people that have varying opinions. It has always been a place where people are free to express their opinions about a scene within the confines of the rules that Brian has established. If I or anyone else do not like a particular scene then I/we are entitled to express our opinion. Just like you are entitled to express your opinion about any scene. Labeling people as "whiners" because they don't share your opinion about a scene is not nice. Intolerance of other peoples likes or dislikes is not what this community is about. |
Tuesday February 17 23:11:12 2015 Justified- Next Week |
In next week's preview, it shows a blond (Not Joelle Carter) sitting by a tree and cleave-gagged with a big grey cloth. It's hard to see as it's in the background but there are two shots of it. |
