"Seven" is a reference to Jeri Ryan, who played the character in STAR TREK: VOYAGER.

Jay, I don't think you're sussing the situation. I suppose it might be possible to ascertain the gag from listening to her vocalizing, but we never *see* her ... that's the whole point.

Re-read my earlier post ... the question is whether such a strictly audial scene should be in the DB. I'd say it does belong ... provided its nature is clearly described. There's also no danger of more than a handful of such items ever being added.

"Checked the link, couldn't find Seven?"

""Seven" is a reference to Jeri Ryan, who played the character in STAR TREK: VOYAGER."

Got it now, thanx.

Mark for reference, another actress with different credit names:
IMDB Jeri Ryan

"delete notes, said Michele "Cleave-gagged""

"Jay, I don't think you're sussing the situation."

"Sussing"?
Not familiar with the term.

"I suppose it might be possible to ascertain the gag from listening to her vocalizing, but we never *see* her ... that's the whole point."

Not following you here?
To me, either the poster, or someone else who saw the cleave-gag has to post up and confirm it.
Else I'm going by what others have related,
that the cleave-gag was scene creep.

"the question is whether such a strictly audial scene should be in the DB. I'd say it does belong ... provided its nature is clearly described."

Sounds okay to me.

Bit of Anglophilia on my part ... it just means "figuring out" or "understanding".

You spoke of "sort(ing) gag type" ... but that's impossible, as it's never seen. She *is* gagged ... we never see her or, obviously, it.

Make sense?

"You spoke of "sort(ing) gag type"

Mark my "we'll have to sort gag type.", as slang then.
The gag seemed to be main point in dispute, so's needs to be sorted out. (Or worked out)
"We'll" is incorrect yes, as you fellas have watched it and will be ones to decide.

"sort(ing) gag type"... but that's impossible, as it's never seen."

Agreed

Re: Nightmare in Columbia County

"The movie originally aired on one of the broadcast channels, I forget which. The scene was shown intact then. I've seen several repeats, all of which showed the scene as described above."

Unless I misreading? Appears this only fella that doesn't feel it scene creep.
Other than the poster.
The others appear to agree with you, so's figure you can handle sorting the entry.

Double post again
I really am sorry (entries 8464 and 8465)
After writing, and checking, the entry I click on "submit".

Sometimes I get the message "connection to the website failed" or something like that. Then, of course, I try again, because I put a little effort into the entry.

Resulting in a double post. Hmm-guess I must check if the entry has entered at first regardless of the message, thereby risking to lose the work- sometimes it disappears if I surf too much back and forth.

Yeah well, sorry.

The actress was gagged and mmmphed a lot. That's good enought for me. Keep it in.

Copy your work before checking if it's been entered. If it hasn't, you can paste it back and try again. You'll have to retype the title, actor, etc., but you'll have saved the description.

On my MSN TV system, I hit cmd+a, which highlights the entire field, then cmd+c to copy ... cmd+v pastes it back into the field.

Good idea Biff, I will do that (save the description before checking)
The MSN TV system I do not understand a word of.
I just use an old Macintosh computer.

You're welcome ... but I think the initial post was plenty polite. No worries.

And MSN TV is a world unto itself. <g>

That message can happen at any point in the transaction,
including after my server has sent the ack message.

Open a new window, use that to go and check the entry.
