Re: Recent Secret Service Entry Pulled: The originals: Record number: 1988 Title: Secret Service (1992) Medium: TV Series Actress: Belinda Metz Description: Unknown episode Belinda goes undercover but her cover is quickly blown. Bad guy tapes her wrists behind her back and cleave-gags her (over the hair) with a bandanna on screen. He then carries her to a van where he tapes her ankles too. The other agents trace the car to a hospital where they find the female agent on a gurney, still bound and gagged and covered with a sheet. She's wearing a low-cut sundress and stockings. _______ Record number: 6907 Title: Secret Service (1992) Medium: TV Series Actress: Two unknowns Description: Unknown episode In this episode concerning the exploits of our government agents, a mother and daughter are captured, bound and tape gagged. They're both wearing dresses. ________ Pulled Entry Title: Secret Service Medium: TV Series Actress: Chandra West Description: B&G'd nude during a photo shoot ___________ As yet, I'm still ready to consider the Pulled Entry dead, and merge it's & poster Togolane's info into [#6907] Based on this Discussion Page Post: Thursday February 13 08:52:30 2003 Re: time to flex memory muscles "After reading the responses this post received citing "Belinda Metz", I am recalling the previously described scene differently. The "Secret Service" scene I recall featured a pretty brunette co-ed lured to a studio by a creepy photographer. After the brunette agrees to go with the man, the scene cuts: the girl is now stripped naked, tethered with yellow cord, and bandana cleave-gagged; a strobe light is flashing to add "intensity" to the scene. Good shots of her fearful face, some decent back shots (with her face in profile), and of course, very nice shots of her bare bound feet. The girl is VERY gorgeous, and looks a bit like "Felicity" with the same sort of curled hair." "This episode is excellent because the VERY NEXT SEGMENT after this story featured a family (father, mother, and adult daughter) being robbed by two crooks (male & female duo). The entire family are bound with their wrists behind their backs; the parents' ankles are taped. Everyone is sporting SUPER-WIDE, white tape gags" _______ Re: Other "Disputed" With This Entry. Okay, I've noticed that Grumpus Maximus is in Kerry Fraser Mode over on Discussion Page. So one favour? Let's keep the "Nudity" Dispute here to either, "NBC Prime-time show so implied nudity or, "Nudity but stress dark & not much shown, etc" Those US/Political type comments only start arguments, with Brian ending up the bad guy when trying to settle it down. So I'm asking ahead of time to avoid this. Thanx |

So I was looking for a particular foreign scene in the DB this morning, and I stumbled across a couple entries (4916 and 4934) containing a character that shows up in both of my browsers as "?". To me, that looks like a "permil" (parts per thousand) sign, which is ASCII 137. Is that what you guys are seeing as well? It seems as though this should be an é ("eacute" or ASCII 233) instead.
Intrigued, I tried searching the DB for other instances of that character. It didn't go so well, since I got a lot of irrelevant entries (but not 4916 or 4934). It did, however, turn up 5526 and 6184. I've got some more general thoughts about improving the handling of special characters within the DB -- but they'd probably take some coding on Brian's part, and it's probably not a big enough deal that he'd feel like bothering. I'd be happy to elaborate if there's interest, though. |

To me, that looks like a > "permil" (parts per thousand) sign, which is ASCII 137. Curiouser and curiouser -- I copied and pasted that character directly from the entry into a posting window on the same browser, and it rendered as a permil. Viewing my post now, however, it's coming out as the question mark that the browser uses when it's all like "huh?" |

Okay, here's how planning to sort this using poster Togolane's and other's info. What planning to merge in marked in "red" Record number: 6907 Title: Secret Service (1992) Medium: TV Series Actress: Chandra West, Laura Robinson, Kim Nelles Description: Unknown episode Chandra West plays a pretty brunette co-ed lured to a studio by a creepy photographer. After she agrees to go with the man, the scene cuts and now she's stripped naked, tethered with yellow cord, and bandana cleave-gagged; a strobe light is flashing to add "intensity" to the scene. Good shots of her fearful face, some decent back shots (with her face in profile), and of course, very nice shots of her bare bound feet. The next segment features a family (Laura & Kim) being robbed by a male & female pair of crooks. They are bound with their wrists behind their backs. Laura's ankles are taped. Both are gagged with wide white tape. Kim's gag is removed and she is dragged into a bedroom. Unfortunately Kim's shot whilst struggling, coming to a bad end. Upon hearing a gunshot, Laura mmmppphhhs and knee-walks across the room to her bound husband. Implied nudity in Chandra's scene. Laura and Kim are both wearing dresses. _______ What do you fellas think here? |

[#5526] & [#6184] were probably ones we caught-re cut and pasted from IMDB after Brian fixed. I'll try and search out any still in there. Thanx |

Sunday April 06 21:52:42 2003 Re: Brian R - Review Disputed Entries & One Favour? |
Just to be clear, you're going to have three separate scenes on Secret Service, the Belinda Metz undercover, the kinky photographer and the home invasion one, right? Because all three happened and are distinct. |

"Just to be clear, you're going to have three separate scenes on Secret Service," No, should be two. "the Belinda Metz undercover, the kinky photographer and the home invasion one, right? Because all three happened and are distinct." Belinda Metz should be one, as one. Believe Poster Togolane? Fella from Thursday February 13 08:52:30 2003, Posted about Chandra's scene, then: "This episode is excellent because the VERY NEXT SEGMENT after this story featured a family (father, mother, and adult daughter) being robbed by two crooks" So's going by that matched original [#6907], as opposed to Belinda Metz entry. |

>>"Next segment. Does that mean it's from the same episode
of the show?" What I got from the post starting this off. "I don't recall that being the case," Lovely "where did this information come from? Here's the full post, Mistakenly thought Togolane, but by poster Dave: Thursday February 13 08:52:30 2003 Re: time to flex memory muscles > Anyway, she was tied feet together, hands behind er > back, and cleave gagged with a bandanna. On top all > that, she had bare feet. Which, according to all the > vidcaps I've seen, is a rarity. After reading the responses this post received citing "Belinda Metz", I am recalling the previously described scene differently. The girl is VERY gorgeous, and looks a bit like "Felicity" with the same sort of curled hair. This episode is excellent because the VERY NEXT SEGMENT after this story featured a family (father, mother, and adult daughter) being robbed by two crooks (male & female duo). The entire family are bound with their wrists behind their backs; the parents' ankles are taped. Everyone is sporting SUPER-WIDE, white tape gags; we don't get much of a look at the daughter but we do see her gag removed as she is dragged into the bedroom so the male crook can "have his way" with her. After the daughter struggles, she is killed by the crook. Upon hearing a gunshot the mother explodes and an incredible scene unfolds showing a great close-up of the distraught mother's gagged face as she screams thru her gag, then a beautiful scene where she knee-walks across the room to her bound husband where they sob uncontrollably. The mother is very beautiful, and her facial expressions and gagged protesting are perfect! Sure, there is a putz in the scene but he really isn't viewable during the mother's good shots. Personally, I think this scene surpasses the barefoot model scene before it. All in all this was a great episode, which I have on tape if anyone cares to trade. Hope this helps! Dave ____________ This is in response to poster Kevin (Not trader Kevin, another one). In the previous post, poster Jeb ID's Kevin's original question as the Belinda Metz episode. So Dave's was relating this new episode info. |
