The Brothers Grimm
Day: Sunday November 06 2011
Time: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM Eastern
Channel: UHD
Record number: 11614

Title: The Brothers Grimm (2005)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Lena Headey aka Lena Heady

Description: Lena Headey, the female lead in the Gilliam film is captured several times. The first is with a chain around the ankle in a barrel.

The second has her manacled, wrists behind and is seated on a chair. At first glance, it looks like she is manacled to the chair, but that isn't the case.

There is a third scene (very short) where she is trying to escape, and runs out her wrists are manacled in front, but instead of a chain, a spreader bar (about 2 feet long) is used.

The final one has her being led by a rope around her neck. Her wrists are manacled in front as in the above scene.

Her torso is wrapped with what looks like half a mile of rope. She sports a nice white cleave gag. Lots of emotion coming from her as she tries to escape, but she doesn't have much luck.

Wearing a old red dress like they apparantly wore back then.

In the Deleted scenes on the DVD, there is a scene, called "The Fat Soldier", with Lena tied to a fence, or railing, in a barn & cleave gagged. It's actually a much better scene than the "main" one. Several nice close-ups. She convinces a...well, fat soldier to remove her gag & finally untie her. Afterward, she gets the drop on him

Once Upon A Time
Day: Sunday November 06 2011
Time: 8:00 PM Eastern

Preview photos show Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White, attacked in the forest by assassins. One photo shows her on her knees with her hands behind her back - whether tied or being held by the assassin is unclear. Not even a hint of a gag.

The Telling
Day: Sunday November 06 2011
Time: Midnight Eastern
Channel: Chiller
Record number: 15536

Title: The Telling (2009)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Bridget Marquardt

Description: The second in a trio of scary stories has Bridget as an actress who is cast as a sacrifice, by a bunch of real immortal killers. She is chained stretched out on a an autopsy table, and is loosely gagged with a white cleave. The autopsy tools approach slowly before the fade out. For unknown reasons, the story is presented with a Black-and-White, rather than the full color of the rest of the movie. For a better look at the bondage, you can refer to the "Fangs For The Mammaries" (5x15) episode of "The Girls Next Door" (record number 14321 in this database).

Quills
Day: Sunday November 06 2011
Time: 10:00 PM Eastern
Channel: Sundance
Record number: 5954

Title: Quills (2000)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Kate Winslet, Diana Morrison

Description: At the beginning of the film, Morrison, as a French noblewoman in one of the Marquis de Sade's stories, has her hands tied behind her with a leather thong as a prerequisite to being laid beneath the guillotine's blade, while the author (Geoffrey Rush) narrates off-camera.

Then, at about an hour and 18 minutes, Madeleine (Winslet) is shown standing ungagged, tied by her outstretched wrists to a frame in the courtyard of the insane asylum where the Marquis is confined. Before a large crowd of onlookers, and as the asylum's superintendent (Michael Caine) and others look on approvingly from an upstairs window, she's whipped as punishment for smuggling de Sade's writings out of the institution. Madeleine is also hand-gagged several times during a struggle with a patient who attempts to rape her during a performance of a de Sade play about midway through the movie.

On the DVD's commentary track, author Doug Wright, who wrote both the screenplay and the stage play upon which it was based, makes some rather interesting comments about the whipping scene. He notes that Winslet was wearing a plastic prosthetic back which was capable of raising welts and bleeding, but this effect was cut from the final release because it was considered too graphic. While assuring viewers that Winslet's back was protected during the whipping, he also points out, "Nevertheless, when it was over, she was wincing a bit from the pain."
