At around the 22 minute mark (not counting commercials), Buffalo Bill (Joel McCrea) hears sounds of a struggle and enters the house occupied by a U.S Senator, an aide and Louisa, the senator's lovely daughter (O'Hara). Bill discovers the aide and the daughter lying on the floor bound and gagged. Both of the victims have their hands bound behind their back and Louisa is cleave gagged with her long scarf, which is knotted in her mouth. Louisa is ungagged and untied on-screen. Short scene (lasts perhaps 40 seconds) with no close-ups of Louisa's bonds, and it's somewhat dark because it takes place at night, but Ms. O'Hara is in the foreground throughout. |
