The ropes encircle her body from her wrists to her elbows. More rope holds her legs to the chair. The chair is perched high above the ground, ready to fall when the clock reaches a certain time. Maggie is wearing a short grey skirt with matching blazer. Abigail (Rachael Leigh Cook) in the mean time is tied under the pier as the tide is coming in. She's also bound with the same type of heavy rope as Jules. They both are gagged with OTM gags. |

Record number: 3160 Title: The Watcher (2000) Medium: Movie Actress: Marisa Tomei Description: Serial Killer on the rampage epic has a cut and paste script but climaxes with Psychologist Marisa Tomei being taken hostage by the psycho. Oscar Winner Tomei is tied to a chair, hands taped behind her, ankles taped together, roped to the chair. She is taped gagged and remains that way for about four minutes in which does some energetic mmmmphhhing. There are some nice close ups of her gagged face, and some shots of her taped wrists. She is ungagged for dialogue with the psycho and eventually is saved by the FBI hero. All in all a very good scene , with Marisa being filmed from a variety of angles. Noticeable for being one of the very few full scale scenes every done by an Oscar Winning Actress after she has won the Oscar. There are two other scenes in the film: Some brief shots of the detective's past love who was killed by the psycho and at the beginning scenes of the psycho toying with his first victim. She has her hands tied behind her and is taped gagged and at one point the psycho kissed her on her gagged lips. However the Girl does not survive so be warned. The Tomei Scene takes place in the last half hour of the film, the first victim in the first few minutes. The flashbacks of the other victim are very very brief and she is never clearly seen, and are scattered throughout the film. |

Your standard "scream" scene is about 6 minutes in, but you don't see anything until a short flashback about 24 minutes in w/ commercials. A few more short flashbacks with the bad guy using a wire hanger as a whip and then a short rescue scene. By 27 minutes, it is all over. She is bound with her wrists behind her back and is gagged with a while cleave (looks like a towel). You don't really see the bindings, but the gag looks pretty tight. The disturbed antagonist is with Ms. Picatto when they hear her mother (Jane Seymour) call her (at about the 75' mark). He handgags her and drags her off in a fairly long scene with mmmphing. She's not seen again until about fifteen minutes are left in the film. She's cleavegagged with a brown cloth and tied to a pole, hands in front, at the bottom of an elevator shaft (shades of MURPHY'S LAW). Her kid brother shares her dire straits. The power's restored, and the elevator starts to descend; but Ms. Seymour and hubby manage to rescue daughter and son after the requisite cliffhanging. |

About 48 minutes in (with commercials), we see part of this scene again in a B&W flashback. Three more brief flashback shots show her unconscious as the villain slips a noose around her neck, and then she is pulled to her death by a remote-controlled hanging machine. Strangely, she's tape-gagged in the first and third shots, but detective gagged in the second. The third shot also shows her wrists taped in front, but so briefly that you almost need freeze-frame to see it. |

Record number: 2504 Title: Tank Girl (1995) Medium: Movie Actress: Lori Petty, Ann Magnuson, Stacy Linn Ramsower, Naomi Watts Description: Tank Girl (Petty) is brought before the evil Malcolm McDowell (who I'm sure is a peach of a guy in real life) with her hands bound behind her around 20 minutes in (with commercials). She is later seen in a straitjacket with a restraining chain attached to the back about 35minutes into this adaptation of the underground comic book. In the very next scene, she is laced up in a full-body canvas bag (without the straitjacket). In another scene, Ms. Magnuson, as a madam, is forced to sing "Let's Do It", but is gagged with white tape while Tank Girl takes over. Scene occurs about halfway through. Towards the end, Sam (Ramsower) is shown in a dangling spreadeagle as bait for Tank Girl. Lastly, Tank Girl and Jet Girl (Watts) have their wrists strapped in front around the 65-minute mark, are released, then restrapped with locked chains. The sequence ends around 75 minutes in. |
