Record number: 2691 Title: Perry Mason: The Case Of The Telltale Talk Show Host (1993) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Alex Datcher Description: The attractive black actress best known as Wesley Snipes' stewardess love interest in Passenger 57 plays a cop who gets nabbed by the bad guy while undercover posing as a hooker. She's bound wrists-behind-back and gagged on-screen with silver duct tape and left in a basement. Later on her hooker friend comes downstairs, wakes her up and quickly takes the gag off (boooooo). Neither scene is very long at all, and the lighting isn't great (the bad guy shuts off the light when he goes upstairs), but she is a very good looking actress, and she is gagged on-screen and lets out a nice 'mmmmmmpph' as her mouth is taped. Also both scenes with her have decent but quick closeups. A great example of quality over quantity in terms of a DID scene. Incidentally, this TV movie was Raymond Burr's last performance as Perry Mason. |

After Ms. Blakley says where is Veronica?" there are some nice shots of her cleave gagged with a thick white and some good closeups of her bound hands as she uses a rock to saw through the ropes. Loved it! Whole scene last less than a minute. |

| A classic case of onscreen gagging, as Russ Tamblyn comes up behind Beba Loncar (gorgeous blonde) in her bathtub and whips a gag into her mouth. It seems she can't do anything about it because her arms are occupied covering her breasts. Later we see her again as she's dumped out of a sack into the hold of a ship. Happens fairly early in the film, maybe 20 minutes or so. Repeats at 7 a.m. on ActionMAX west. |

Scenes of her strugging against the bonds, and Connie Hope (Patricia Richardson) having to inject her with a sedative. This scene occurs during the first half of the movie. Helen isn't gagged in this scene. The three Jackson women, teenage daughter Casey (Biel), very young daughter Penny (Zima) and 30-something mother Helen are tightly bound to chairs and gagged with duct tape. Close-ups of hands being wrapped in duct tape, gagged with duct tape wrapped around the head, some grunting. Casey struggles so much that, when they are discovered by (the unfortunately ungagged and unbound) Connie (Patricia Richardson of the TV show Home Improvement), we see her chair has tipped over. Scene lasts about three minutes and occurs about 85 minutes into the movie. |
