In an effort to force the crook to commit a crime for him, the head Villian and his goons take over the house. In the first scene, eight of the ladies are tied to chairs, (chairs set in an outward facing circle), with explosive devices on the chairs. The other damsel is tied AOH in a door frame. In the second scene, the ladies are taken to a warehouse type building. All except two are tied AOH. The ladies are all wearing very sexy mini-dress outfits. Unfortunately, the Villian forgot the duct-tape. In both scenes, none of the ladies were gagged. |

| This isn't a specific alert, per se, and I hope it belongs here but I thought you might like to know about an interesting "discovery" I've the past two weekends (posted to the general discussions page as well).
Showtime TOO is airing two "Flipper: The Series" episodes (complete w/our fave Dark Angel, Jessica -- Don't call me Marie -- Alba) every Ssturday and Sunday morning starting at 7:30am ET. They run without commercials (yea!), so they're fitting two episodes into an hour-and-a-half slot. They appear to be from the second season, and last week I caught the tail end of the episode where the older lab lady is held hostage by a baddie lady escaping on a boat (hands tied in front); I should've checked the DB for title name first, sorry. Anyway, I don't know how long they're been running or how long they will run, but this is a good opportunity to capture missed episodes (and I think there were 3 good ones). Four shots a weekend, not bad in my book...And personally I've never seen, or recall seeing, syndicated programming run on a pay cable channel sans commcericials like this; they might be tried to capitalizeon the recent JMA/Dark Angel popularity, in which case I say "Thanks!" Caught it again this morning, but I didn't want to post until it appeared to be a regular thing... |

Record number: 1184 Title: Woman On The Run: The Lawrencia Bembenek Story Medium: TV Movie Actress: Tatum O'Neal Description: This four-hour miniseries has two sets of scenes featuring Tatum O'Neal in chains, one in the first fifteen minutes of the movie, the second set in the last fifteen minutes -- with no scenes, absolutely none, in the 3 1/2 hours between. In the opening scenes of the movie, O'Neal is transferred to U.S. customs by Canadian police officers (she's a prisoner on the lam who got caught). The Canadian cops let her walk free, but right in the middle of the airport the U.S. officers open up a great big duffle bag full of chains and proceed to manacle her wrists and shackle her ankles. Then there's a long shot of her walking with chains clinking everywhere with everyone staring at her. In the second set of scenes, a judge orders her shackled and cuffed whenever she leaves her cell, and there's shots of her meeting with her lawyers and parents in chains. Because the movie is basically a tearjerker, there's a lot of emphasis on the chains in the scenes which have them. A second TV movie about Bembenek exists, called Calendar Girl, Cop, Killer? The Bambi Bembenek Story. Haven't seen it, so I can't comment on it.
