Record number: 1628 Title: The Goonies Medium: Movie Actress: Kerri Green Description: Not a great movie, and not the worlds most effective or strict scene, but I think it's a lot of fun (the scene). The movie is rather juvenile, but if you can get through it (or fast forward) at the end is a scene where sixteenish Kerri Green (in cheerleader outfit) gets her hands tied in front of her with thick rope and walked off a plank. The hero jumps after her into the water (its actually a lagoon) and saves her. Here's the cool part: he gets her to shallow water and starts to untie her hands. They look at each other (she gives the cutest look), smile and he places her still tied hands over his head and they kiss. Now why don't more heroes think of that?! |

Vengeance follows vengeance in a well-orchestrated and credible plot. Kidder gives one of her top performances, which are enhanced by a scene where she's hauled into a car and on screen bound (hands behind) and tape gagged. Later her bound wrists behind a pole and her ankles are tied together. Ms. Kidder is wearing a dress and heels. Judd Hirsch (sp?) is an actor who is thinking about having Caroline (Lea) star in his play. The scene in the play involves the girl being tied up. Judd takes some masking tape and wraps it around her as she sits in her chair. She says a few lines from the scene. Then Judd hasan argument with the other fellow from the show. In an effort to leave the two alone, Caroline shuffles her chair into another room. (The chair has wheels on it.) Later, after Judd has left, Caroline shuffles back into the room to talk to the other fellow. "So are you going to untie me?" she asks. "Not today," he says. If memory serves, the scene is a little less than half way through the show. |
