Record number: 2405 Title: Maverick Medium: TV Series Actress: Suzanne Lloyd Description: Episode: "Last Stop: Oblivion" Laura Nelson (Lloyd) is trying to find her fiancee who disappeared seven months ago -- with their $8000 in savings. She has tracked him to a stagecoach transfer station called Oblivion. Bart Maverick discovers that the fiancee's name has been erased from the station register and suspects both he and a fellow passenger also carrying a large sum to start a business have been robbed and murdered. Unfortunately, he reveals his suspicions to two untrustworthy fellow passengers; one who tries to blackmail the murderers and is killed for his trouble and another who throws in his lot with the cutthroats. In the first bondage scene, Laura lies on the floor of the stable with her wrist bound above her head and attached to a post; her ankles are tied, too. Maverick is beside her, loosely hogtied. Bart breaks a bottle and cuts their bonds, but the pair are jumped by a villian played by Buddy Ebsen and only Maverick escapes. In the (short) second scene, Laura is sitting in the living room with her wrists bound in front of her. The matron of the house leads her upstairs while the menfolk go off in search of Maverick. In the third scene, we see Laura tightly cleave gagged with a bandanna, her wrists tied in front. (Will these villians never learn?) She struggles to free herself from her bonds; when Maverick returns to rescue her and gets involved in a gunfight with the bad guys, she slips out of her ropes and, still gagged, grabs a gun from the matron, pistol whips her and then shoots a bad guy slipping up behind Maverick. Only then does she pull the gag from her mouth. A very nice scene! |

A Japanese entomologist misses the last bus back to town and finds shelter with a woman in the bottom of a sand pit. This next morning he realizes he is trapped and can never leave. At first he refuses to work (the woman is part of a slave labor gang) and ties her up and gags her with a towel, but after nearly dying of thirst, he agrees to start shoveling sand. Along the way the man discovers he is falling in love with the woman and enjoys being ensnared. |

| West Coast Alert
Rya Kilstedt plays a mermaid who's abducted by a greedy couple. She starts the movie naked and chained in a portable aquarium by the wrists. She's later seen trapped in netting, still naked. Later still, she climbs partially out of the aquarium, still naked and chained. I haven't seen the rest of the movie, so I can't tell if there's more. Interesting bit: Carla Gugina plays the human female lead in the movie. There's a psychic link between her and the mermaid. Kilstedt and Gugina share another link in real life: an entry in the scene database. Kihlstedt played one of Gugina's lesbian rapists who gave her the panty gag in "Jaded." It's very likely the movie will be on again later this month. It's a pretty good little horror film, by all accounts. |

His first victim (Lane) is leaving for work when he bursts through her door and throws her onto her bed. He ties her in a lower-half spreadeagle with pantyhose and cleave-gags her. Just as he's about to unbutton her blouse, she gets a phone call from a male neighbor who heard her screams. When she doesn't pick up the receiver after her answering-machine greeting, he says he's calling the police, which scares the rapist off. Later, Forke's character is asleep in her underwear, face-down on her bed. She awakens to find the rapist standing over her. He shoves her back down and pulls her arms behind her, then ties her hands with a cloth strip. Still later, another actress is accosted by the rapist after letting him in on a ruse. He hand-gags her and throws her down, then gags her with a white sock and ties her hands in front. Next, he holds a thin black strip of cloth over her as if he's going to secure the sock gag with it, but blindfolds her with it instead as the scene ends. |

Pulitzer, Joely Fisher, Judy Kain, Kelly McGillis Description: The movie begins with fragmented scenes of Pulitzer strapped to a chair and being suffocated with a plastic bag over her head during the opening credits. About half an hour in, Fisher is abducted and placed in a foam-lined box in the back of a truck, where she is shown in close-up shots with a tight black cleave gag. Later she is shown strapped to a bed with her wrists over her head and still cleave-gagged as her captor comes into the room and chloroforms her. Soon afterward he seats her at a table and pulls the gag out to feed her, but puts it back in as she defies him. He suffocates Fisher in the same manner as the first victim, but the bonds holding her to the chair aren't shown. Towards the end of the film, the killer tries to kidnap McGillis, and she realizes that she had escaped from him after he had abducted her years before. Soon afterward he grabs Kain as his final victim, throwing her onto a bed cleave-gagged with her hands cuffed behind her back. When McGillis comes to her rescue, she finds the room where Fisher was held, with Kain lying strapped to the bed and cleave-gagged the same way. This scene is intercut with flashback scenes of McGillis tied with her arms over her head and cleave-gagged as she is whipped by the abductor (there is also a very brief shot of this a little earlier), and lying on the bed bound and gagged like the present victim. |
