First, she blows off all her dates and now she's kidnapped by vampires and dragged to their underground lair at the cemetary. She's wearing a black sleeveless blouse. Her wrists are bound over her head and she's tightly cleave-gagged by a thick white cloth. She's left that way for an extended period before the vampires cut her down, menace her, then turn her into a vampire. Very nice scene. Meanwhile, Cordelia (Carpenter) and Willow witness the transformation. Cordelia nearly screams, but Willow handgags her so she doesn't give away their location. Ms. Johnes' scene starts around the 25' mark, Ms. Carpenter's is about 38' in. |

Record number: 6290 Title: Satan's Skin (1971); Blood on Satan's Claw; Devil's Touch, The Medium: Movie Actress: Michele Dotrice, unknown Description: A wonderful bondage-fest and a movie filled with pagan eroticism. Strange goings-on in a village deep in England - a mysterious face in a field, a young woman who goes mad, that sort of thing. An early scene sees the woman being carted off to the loony bin in a sort of curious restraining garment. Not a straitjacket but serving the same purposes. A group of youngsters, headed by Angel Blake (played by Linda Hayden) engages in pagan ceremonies. About halfway through the movie a couple of boys follow a young girl and circle her body with a rope, by which they pull her into a ceremony. As the flower-decked group sing and chant the girl, who is obviously young, virginal - and scared - is forced to the ground. Soon her clothing is being torn off and a boy steps forward to ravage her. No bondage in this scene which ends in the young girl being stabbed to death with a pair of garden shears by Angel. In the middle of the movie is yet another bondage scene, as another girl, Margaret (Michele Dotrice) is tied down on a bench with ropes while a doctor removes the Devil's Skin from her leg - a bloody and somewhat unpleasant operation unless the viewer is used to horror movies. The nice part of this scene was the way she was tied with her bare feet facing the camera, which we get to see quite well, particularly as she squirms and struggles against her bonds. Further on still Margaret, who is indeed possessed, gets grabbed by the authorities and is tied by the arms to a railing inside a shed, where she is questioned. We don't get to see as much as we would like of her bonds but she certainly acts the part as she engages in a venomous debate with the questioner. Finally Margaret gets her foot caught in a rabbit trap (she's shod) and when she tries to get help from Angel the latter beats her with a stick and then leaves her there. There is a final orgy scene with the flower-decked youngsters celebrating and Angel removing her clothes (she did likewise earlier in the movie, trying to seduce the Vicar - and gave us a nice full-frontal view of her attractive body). This last scene is hauntingly powerful, with a great musical score and the children singing - it makes one feel one is right back in ancient pagan Britain |
